My favorite Skynyrd song is one of his lesser known ones called The Ballad of Curtis Loew, quite different than his other stuff. In fact I had to look it up since it's been so long since I last listened to it. I remember Curtis being in the title, that's how I easily found it.
I read this comment before art did the mimi. Was able to guess the letter that he will mess up. I think his talking and typing at the same time the word iheart caused him to overlook the spelling error.
Clever arrangement of the Spangram going right to left then back and making it look like phone was first. I took me a second to see too, although not nearly as long as you haha.
@@hopechazz I also got the perfect solve. It wasn't the easiest but a perfect solve wasn't hard either. Yesterday is what broke my streak of perfect solves. What I am sure to do, whenever I don't achieve the perfect solve, I show my solve pattern anyway for everyone to see. If I don't, it's because I'm on travel and it's too cumbersome to copy the Connections results on my phone, sometimes.
Keep in mind, Tigerboy, that skill levels in these puzzles do vary among all of us. Doug, the spokesperson, failed in Connections today. Also. the viewers can take their time solving these NYT games. This is not the case with the spokespeople. I prefer the humble side of you, Tigerboy. 😂
@@hopechazz Doug's style is a bit different than the rest. He doesn't spend too much time over-analyzing a category and goes with his gut feeling. This means he's susceptible to falling for red herrings than say, someone who at least does some forward thinking by finding another category. Doug doesn't seem to look ahead, I have not seen him trying to figure out an entire puzzle like Oranje or Art sometimes try to do before making their first selection. Given the way Doug plays, he does very well. Also worth mentioning that Doug's scoring method doesn't reward perfect solves. He just needs to light up and name all four categories correctly. In fact I didn't even think perfect solves were anything special until I came across Oranje's channel sometime later, and only then did I start to look at it from that angle.
That chocolate bar is called a Yorkie in the UK, not a York (if I'm thinking of the right thing). That was confusing because I thought it was places starting with "New".
