Abstract art in a nutshell XD
“Moppu” in Japanese *katakana* was a nice surprise, despite being drawn unconventionally!
I was a little confused on what it said because of the way he wrote the プ but it still looked cool like all the others and was surprisingly similar to real calligraphy

I loved the red splat with the tear in it. Was artistic gold. Happy accident for the win. I also loved the one tiny dot of red on the beautiful black and white galaxy one. Felt like an extesential commentary on how we are all just a tiny speck in a vast galaxy.
The finale piece was EXTRAORDINARY
He really did capture the essence of the human condition and how conditional it is. Really brings a tear to my eye 🤧

I actually really like all of the pieces (yes, even "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" lol) I have a weird suggestion though: Maybe auction off the mop pieces to find out what paintings people like the most? It could also be a good way to fund the cherry picker (Not that you necessarily *need* the extra help, but it could be useful!)🤔🙂

@@johndorian4078 true, the outrageous prices reek of money laundering. However, I think there is a reason why these large, minimal abstract pieces are so popular. Obviously it's not about the art itself, but interior designers use them to break the monotony of having large walls that are basically just one color block. So as an art piece they're kinda meh, but as an interior design element they get the job done.
Idea: Make a giant detailed piece using only handprints.

The one with the word “mop” in Japanese characters was really profound for just mucking around. Dang Jazza, even your swatches look profound!
I actually really love the "wooooooooosssssshh" one and the portrait.
I really liked the final version of the last one (as well as, surprisingly, the torn canvas one), but the version I really loved of the last one was the blue field, then the single stroke of yellow. For some reason, that sung to me. Guess it's time to break out the mop. My wife will be so excited, until she sees what I'm really doing.
I agree, I also really liked the blue field with the yellow stripe! I liked it with two stripes, as well.

Abstract art is easy to comprehend! It's simply the artist and the viewer engaging is "it just feels right" "i just think they're neat" kind of no-rules asthetic anarchy. It's therapeutic and more focused on how things look rather than what they are. A lot of people see ALL art as representational and get frustrated with abstract art because they're still think that it's trying to represent something. But it just is what it is. It's only as deep as you want it to be, and it doesn't need depth at all really. Basically, it's all vibes all the times.
@@Queer_Nerd_For_Human_Justice I get frustrated with abstract art because it seems like all modern art is all abstract all the time. I wanna see some more actual Things being represented in modern art. In a way that isn't deformed and turning back into being abstract.
Specifically talking about stuff in museums to be clear. I enjoy doing abstract art from time to time myself and it is very fun to do

Milk Toast and AaaAAHhh are super cool. The one orange blob in Milk Toast looks like a lonely planet between stars and maybe even a black hole in the forefront, bending the light of the stars behind it.
AaaAAHhh is just super expressive and I like the color.

I actually really love that, honestly, Jazza isn’t the BEST at anything, but he is reeeaaaally good at a lot of things, allowing for a solid, enjoyable breadth and variety to his videos.
Also, living for "she went with subtlety, I haven't tried that yet" 😂
I think it would’ve been cool to do waterfalls with the streaky ‘brush’ texture and splats for the water crashing against rocks etc. and lots of moss with the drip to really take advantage of the unique textures of the mop. Would be cool to revisit mop art at a later date

And lastly, _"La Condición Humana"_ , a very gorgeous piece! The condition the piece was in was very human and that's what I love about it!

There was so much that was my favorite: Jazza not-so-subtle commentary on contemporary art, his reference to his 'little' channel as the OG at channel, the fact my first mid-video ad was for a mop and the last was in Spanish, and then of course "WHEEEEEOOOOOOEEEEEESSSHHHH". Thank you, Jazza (and Co) for all these forms of the human condition.
The colors and lines from the mop in "WOOoooooOooOSH" are so friggen cool, especially when you came thru with the green

This last painting on the large canvas really blew my mind. It’s stunning!
These are unironically some of my favorite pieces he's done. I feel like there's so much you can do with mop painting.
I am obsessed with AHHHHH, that slit cut into it speaks to me, like not even as a joke. It feels like the canvas itself placed the paint on it and bleed, it feels like it is screaming in pain with this harsh splatters. It shows an artistic abuse and would love to take a needle and some thread and do almost a black or a red patchwork look on the art. Black would represent healing and adding calm strokes of blue could speak to the after part of trauma, while red thread could speak to the current, adding other red thread sections frayed and hurt to create the sight of ongoing abuse. Literally obsessed with the piece

Hi. I like your final pieces!! The Spanish model has a Pop Art silk screen feel to it. It looked like you had fun.
I am a big fan of Carolyn Mara. Her circles look like they were casually dashed off. But I can see the skill and deliberateness in those paintings. I also love when she gets her children involved pouring paint on her body as she’s lying down.
That could be next for you. Wear something waif-like and have others pour paint on you as you’re lying on the canvas.

When I was a kid, my neighbors had paintings with plain white backgrounds and red splashes over it, just like you did it here. But it also had barbwire from the og Berlin wall on it. The red stood for the "blood" that people lost, when they tried to escape to the west of Germany

I feel like the mop could be a great tool for doing large swaths of canvas without straining your back as much, esp if you want to keep some of the dynamism like the streaks you mentioned. But even if you want a pretty even coat, if you're willing to waste a lot of paint/ primer stuck in the mop fibers it seems easier than a paint roller
This 'wild art' is fantastic! We really want more videos which can easily be reproduced at home - pen and paper art, which provides a real opportunity to be inspired by you and learn new art tips we can use. This is how we came to love you, but we don't learn much we can put into practice anymore! Give us some teaching Jazza, inspire us to draw, like back in the good old days! Karen and Ike x

I really liked [Sound of Wind Across a Desolate Plain]. It reminded me a lot of impressionism with how textured it all was.
The damaged canvas in "AAAAAAAHH!" unironically works in a still pretentious art gallery mixed with a Bob Ross happy accident kind of way.
I love the red on the broken canvas, and the one which you copied the tiktok, all of it are so beautiful!! The blood on the broken canvas spoke volumes and I could really feel the emotions from the painting! I love how you turn everything into a painting medium, it's so inspiring 😍

he inspires me to waste absurd amounts of paint on the dumbest projects ever, and I am completely fine with that.
You should go watch art from the French artist Fabienne Verdier. She does her art with giant brushes. She has studied chinese’s calligraphy during 10 years in China and that has inspired her style which become abstract with time because she wanted to only keep the essence of thing she was painting. When I see this video, it is making me thinking about her.

This reminded me of the time, in class . . . my fellow classmate was struggling to finish her painting and asked for my input. I looked at her completed painting . . . she couldn't seem to recognize that she had accomplished a "finished" piece. And it was marvelous.
That blue streaks piece . . . DONE. [except where you went over some really nice white areas.
On a personal note, your experimentation is so helpful to our lazy tendencies, and so inspirational for our next "get to it" with our own experimentational ideas to move forward with what you've started. Thanx so much.

In this video, I find it really inspiring that Jazza has talked about an issue that isn't often talked about: the human condition. The way he relates every intricate detail in his pieces to the subject to portray the idea that being a human isn't alright, especially with his artworks- "AAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHH" (inspired, I assume, by the internal turmoil we feel when we realise we are, indeed, in a human condition) and "Fwhhhshhhhoooooooh" (explaining the giving up, after the turmoil, and accepting the horrible fate of being human.) When faced with such a difficult subject to talk about, Jazza has addressed this in a way perfect as to entirely cover the subject, but yet still not fracture the fragile egos of humans.
I like mop, the one with the orange and yellow background looks like a person with joint pain, my favorite is the landscape. This looks like a really fun way to make big art.
