- Billy Strings performs "Bronzeback~Bringing in the Georgia Mail" on August 7, 2021 at Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, CT. Brought to you by Less Than Face Productions.
I’ve listened to this and their cover of the Dead “Loser” like 5 times today. Made my family listen too haha. So good. I never hear a dead note even though they play like wildfire. Glad Billy puts so much concert and personal footage online. I hope it means he’ll have a career as long as the Dead.
Werd... just found it tonight at work....(~):}
They are absurdly good, the only thing that can improve them is when Molly Tuttle joins in! Also agree that it is very cool that they allow so much footage to be out there, for Brits like myself who might never seem him live it is a joy.
One of my favorite songs. I'll give it a listen myself.
Thank You Connecticut we do love all the killer music we hot this past weeks in the Days in Between sets my soul on fire Jerry Garcia is smiling down on all of this
It really is a joy to see musicians at such a high level loving their work. We're privileged, thanks guys.
When you love your work, it's not work
Best regards from Less Than Face Productions. And with special thanks to the good folks at Westville Music Bowl.
Can’t get enough of this… BRINGING IN THE GEORGIA MAIL!
Awesome music and awesome musicians......love it!
Absolutely love these guys!
❤️🎶🎶🎶🎶❤️ JUST GENIUS ❤️🎶🎶❤️
Thanks once again for putting a huge smile on face
Our pleasure!
Billy's smile is fabulous at the beginning! So is this!
Thanks for watching Tiffany. More to come.
Holy crap!... Well, we know where to find the muse that moved Roy and Buck. It's livin' with Billy.
This is great, thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it Scott
Yall boys going to be around a while
"they oughta throw that engineer in jail, jail, jail" One of the greatest lines in bluegrass.
They don’t call it Pickn & Grinnin for nothing, good stuff.
Amazing! Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
That's awesome dude
Making music fun for everyone
Good stuff
My favourite Billy Strings is mostly where he plays and stays fairly traditional. He still gives it his own unique stamp
what the hell is the one "thumbs down" even thinkin??? what planet you from , dude? This is freakin blisterin!!!!
Down in the muck, yas!
Always enjoy yaw
If I had any musical talent I could do this with no problem.
If you call yourself Billy Strings, you better be able to play that thing
Hey Billy Failing! Cool shirt!
Sweet.... anyone have Legend Valley OH, 2021???
What talent! These four guys are great. Does Bronzeback refer to some of those smallmouth bass I see Billy catching?
Yowza!!
Bringing in the Georgia Mail is where Billy got Dust in a Baggie.
Same dang song........
Norman Blake should get some credit, IMHO.
Agreed about Norman Blake but that isn't Billy.
I mean.... it's bluegrass. Traditional bluegrass has like 3 song forms and if you vary from it too far the old timers will tell you is not bluegrass. I'm pretty sure if you asked Bill Monroe he'd say that Norman Blake ripped him off.
Nice. Their hands are a blur.
That’s Sam Bush
Is this on any of his albums?
1st poste on u obe.. i got Slammed! @whereur 1st stop toga! See ya,! #riled up.
Who the F are these guys? They are phenomenal!!!!! This is a big "F You" to the old boomers (LOL about my age) who say there is no good music anymore.
The same wind that blew him in to the IBMA will blow him back where he came from.....
He's already over priced himself.... word to you, Billy. Just because you use bluegrass instruments doesn't make it bluegrass.
Who cares, man?
Define Bluegrass
@@madhouseart296 Bringin' In The Georgia Mail is as Bluegrass as it gets.
First recording and first release by Charlie Monroe and His Kentucky Pardners (March 25, 1947 / September 1947)
Every musical innovation is built on the backs of others. Billy Strings and vband are part of a new fusion of bluegrass and jam bands. The definition matters not, the music is everything!
Boy do I feel some jealousy. I wish more musicians could play like that! Rock on Billy!!
