It's jazz but yes, I agree with the sentiment 100%, beautiful music is beautiful for anyone who's willing to listen. (For the youtube "professors" who love to discuss: It's technically a jazz blues but that has less to do with blues than the name might imply. "Straight, No Chaser" is another example that shows you that jazz blues is not blues, it's jazz).

A fine example of this style of music and guitar playing ala Doc Watson. I'm going to get ALL of those licks under my fingers. His tone will take much more work and is aided by the beautiful Martin Guitars OM Style Acoustic he plays here. Simply put, a Twentieth Century masterpiece made in the early 1930s I believe by the fine Luthiers at Martin Guitars USA. Get one while you can!
@@rockers2rockers616 I own a Taylor personally, and have played many a Martin in my time, and in my opinion the have a much richer, more full timbre than the Taylors. The lower action most Taylors have and the thin, ergonomic necks and deeper cutaways just make them easier to play for me. I absolutely love the Martins’ tones though, I’ve tried changing to a thicker gauge string, swapping to nylon, using finger picks, switching to just fingernails, everything I can think of to get that warm tones that Martins have while sticking with a Taylor, which from a playability standpoint just suits my style better. Sadly, nothing I try compares to a good ole Martin. If only there was something I could do to my Taylor to get that tone.
So suprised that this many people appreciate some good music in this day of age. If there is one thing that can bring this broken world back together, my money is on music to save ourselves!
