Just inspired - subbed right away as I begin the long road to get my 1996 E36 328i coupe back to its former glory. Owned it since 2006 and now it is over due a restoration. Highly motivating do see this one come alive.
Boston green is a make or break color for the E36. If its not maintained well it makes the car look very bad. You really pulled out the max out of this color. I would have loved to see a walkaround in direct sunlight. Must be stunning in person.

Claus Luther & Pinky did the right things when designing this e36… very muscular and timeless proportion… the detailing process of this car really turn back the time… looks new too!
When I got my 46 I never really liked the 36 too much but damn they have grown on me it really is a beautiful progression from e30 to e36 to e46 and I’m a sucker for this green too. Great video as always man 🤙🏼
Also do you have a washer mod on your 15 got it for mine but haven’t installed it I know some people swear by them and some hate it so just wondered your thoughts

Top work on restoring this car it is a thing of beauty! I’m now a fan of the Boston Green with the BBS wheels. You don’t need to have M3 convertible if you’ve done the subtle mods such as what you’ve carried out! I have F36 Gran Coupe even I’m jealous of this car! Haha! Top work well done!

@@swoqz2526 for best results id advise a de-tar 1st then clay bar. He used 3000 grit wet sand paper. But I'd only do this if you really know what you're doing you could mess up your paint if you're not careful.
@@tomatoknuckles i was thinking of only doing a cutting compound and then a polish and finishing with a ceramic coat my paint doesn't have any deep scratches just really oxidized and little scratches from washing. Do you recommend?
All your videos makes me regret selling my e36 M3 vert with a hard top. I enjoy my e46 M3 much more than I did the e36 but many times I wish I would have just kept it. Keep up the phenomenal work 🤙🏼

I run a shop, detail all day, then come watch you bang out a killer video and chase some boo-boos. Not very many ASMR videos out there like yours. Exquisite detailing entertainment. Advice for you -- look into the Flex PXE-80 cordless. 1", 2", 3" options with enough power to do what's needed in those tight areas. Rotary + DA. Better than the iBrid in many ways. The 2" backing plate and extension arm have to be purchased separately, third party, but I don't know what I'd do without it. Anyways, keep it up, my friend!

Do you not have to clay bar? I am looking into doing this to my car but I need a set of steps I should take or u recommend

I'd probably mount some strut bars and bracing to make it stiffer, because otherwise coilovers and big rims could make the body flex a bit too much
Definitely! However the engine is going to come out this winter in order to make room for something with a little more spice
