1932 HITS ARCHIVE: In A Shanty In Old Shanty Town - Ted Black (Chick Bullock, vocal)

Featured in the 1932 film "Crooner," this was one of the year's most popular song hits. Years later, the tune would become permanently associated with the band of Johnny Long, who recorded it for Decca Records in both 1940 and 1946.
