Song Styles - The subject is a cheese grater. Mike sings a boogie-woogie song; Josie sings in the style of Kurt Weill.
Ryan Stiles + Mike McShane = pure awesomness
"I ain't ever seen a man before."
Josie is so awesome.
Damn Mike's and Ryan's horror part was great!!!
Ryan is really much more active on stage than most of the other British comedians
my god, Ryan is both TALL, HILARIOUS and YOUNG as fuck in these x3
That guy that did the scene with Ryan is really good. Sad i never have seen him on the American whose line
Mike McShane, he played Professor Keenbean on the movie Richie Rich.
Josie Lawrence is by FAR the best female contestant ever, on Whose Line. Like Colin once said what makes her so good is that she isn't afraid to look silly. Kathy Greenwood, Denny Siegel and Sandi Toksvig pale in comparison.
hee hee, Mike and Ryan look like the number 10!
Those songs were brilliant.
Josie is so funny! Always a treat.
god Josie, you got talent!
That horror scene is awesome, Ryan's eyes are quality haha
I love Josie, She's the best
Anyone else skipping episodes or games, just to see more of Ryan? ;)
The Kurt Weill/cheese song! Brilliant Josie and Richard Vranch.
You can see Josie laughing inthe background during that scene.
Mate, I'm actually going to agree with you on all counts here. I think, because I "knew" the American guys, I needed them to kind of ease me into watching the UK series. But now, watching the whole lot through a second time around, I can appreciate the differences more - and am impressed by all the performers I missed the first time!
Thank goodness for keeping an open mind, hey? :)
No, but I do agree that Ryan and Colin are the funniest of the entire Whose Line cast. Ryan edges out Colin IMO because Colin has a lot of awkward moments throughout the series, and a lot of his funniest moments could be considered failures (the Hoedown faints, or the rambles in Greatest Hits where Ryan saves him by telling him to go easy on the coffee.)
I never knew Ryan was Canadian!
Ummm, how come none of the comments so far mention the word mullet, Ryan is rockin that hard!
Man, Josie looks so different here than she did on the American version.
Ryan's eyes were creepy when they had to do horror! Now thats acting! xD
Neil was great 👍 why didn’t we see more of him? ❤️🦋🙏
lol sometimes Richard Vranch keeps playing even though the improvisers are done lol
Best horror ever!
Apparently War and Peace took place in Nam.
This is the first episode where Authors isn't played.
Seems like Josie's kiss actually flustered Neil a bit. I can understand that.
"Here's your lil old drink." That line made me giggle so much, I've no idea why. X3 Come to think of it, so did the entire horror portion of Ryan and Mike's F&TS.
man i'm glad john sessions is gone....mike, josie, greg, tony, and ryan are the best guests
Nope. I've liked all the other performers quite a bit. So I don't skip anything just to see more of the big names from the US series.
Being an American myself, I've actually found a soft spot for the UK series. I think in terms of improv it's actually a bit better than the US version. It's refreshing not seeing just Ryan and Colin pairings all the time. They actually mix it up more than the US series.
I think he does or did live in the Pacific Northwest, which might be why whenever he was on the US version of Weird Newscasters as the weatherman, he would talk about how the weather was in Seattle and that area.
Erin
You read my mind, as always! Can't wait to see your comment on the next video!
i dunno for some reason i always picture greg and josie tpgether...of course, thats when im not picturing greg with me
I thought Josie's Kurt Weill version was really very very good! grate in fact..
Some may remember Neil Mullarkey from that Austin Powers scene "One book, entitled Swedish-made Penis Enlarger Pumps And Me: This Sort of Thing Is My Bag, Baby"
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@ladyauri this episode aired january 5th 1990
God the beginning is terrifying
wait, what? They didn't start with authors?!
which year is it?
Second. First is the 5th episode of the second season
4:02 I ship it.
@SuperMraugust
Why???
....
is this ryans first episode?
@ladyauri 1988
I want a Josie kiss :(
ryans canadian?
Mike looks soooo weird without a beard...
Or... the ability to do creepy things with your eyes.
maybe josie's style wasn't german LEADER but LIEDER which is german for Songs...but then again, it might've been supposed to be in hitler style
Wait Ryan's Canadian?
Ryan was born in the United States but was born to Canadian parents, he has dual citizenship due to that.
Nah, he first appeared in 2x05 ;D
He's not British.
I'm so sick of songs in Who's line...
