Clive and Drew keep introducing Ryan as the one who has been a part this show the longest, but it is actually Greg.
True
longest is ambiguous as it may mean for the longest screen time, not the longest time from their first episode
Am I the only one who finds Greg devilishly handsome?
greg never ages...
Yes, Greg brought some fresh humor to the show---probably why he became so popular. The scene with him and Tony was great!
Wow! Tony, Mike, Josie, and Gregg!!!! What an amazing line up!
Whose Line has the best theme song ever.
It's so funny how Mike and Josie exchanged accents for the "Religious" section.
Tony slattery is dreamy
I think that Greg appeared in the show the longest but Ryan appeared the most frequently...
Greg and Tony's Film and Theatre Styles rocked! And I'm always amazed at what Tony is going to suggest for his style in Authors! I'm totally hooked on this show now!
What a line up for this episode!;)
OMG GREG IS SO CUTE LOOKING THIS. Literally marry me. haha
Tony and Mike are the funniest two in the whole series...
Mike McShane (sp?) is awesome! Why couldn't he be a reoccurring character in the later whose lines
Seems like Greg became a hit with the audience from his first episode here
Josie is funniest woman that has been on Whose Line in my opinion. She's lovely!
Tony always has so random things in authors. XD While the others pick some real authors, he goes with something like My Little Pony.
5:22 "Quick run around pointlessly." That always makes me laugh. :^)
my all time favorite line up! thanks!
tony's tie O_O
wallpaper alarm xD
Reading is a much larger past-time in England than in other parts of the world, I think it's safe to say, and the people watching this programme were brought up in a generation more well-read than the current. I think the audience would be more likely than you think to be familiar with these authors.
It's just a sad example of how something can lose its sparkle over time, I suppose.
I always loved the game Authors. I wish that one didn't go away.
This episode made me like Mike.
tony. is. great.
I know! That's what makesTony so awesome though xD
Awesome! My UK, dream team lineup.
I made it to season two! Yea!
A few episodes for Ryan, and an entire season for Colin. Lynk here probably learned that already, but anybody else wondering now know
greg's faces rock
Infinite points to you for remembering Mr Benn!
Mr Benn was da bomb! lol
Wow! Josie's American accent sounds just like the Doctor Who character Peri did.
No - I'm a girl who likes witty men who sometimes resemble Elvis Costello :D
The UK whose line is more centered around theatre and the American one is more centered around TV
Josie really does look good in everything. If I tried to dress like her, I would look ridiculous. *Jealous*
quick run around pointlessley :)
Wow, Greg really livens this show up! I am comparing the first 6 minutes of this video to all of Season 1. lol
I just finished watching all of the US episodes not too long ago and so I decided to continue by watching all of the UK episodes, so there you go. :)
It's funny for me to think that when I used to watch Whose Line on TV, it was always the UK version (here in the USA), and I loved it! Now I see that I must not have seen any of the episodes from Season 1.
Tony Slattery is my padre.
First episode without John Sessions. Hope he makes more returns, I actually kind of liked him.
Looking at more recent photos of her, I'd say she still looks pretty good.
At least, I wouldn't turn her down. ;)
all the guys on this must have had crushes on josie..who wouldnt!
Yeah - Ryan debuts in 2x05, Colin in 3x05.
I had no idea it was spelt that way but I watched a clip on UA-cam to take me down memory lane. Clearly he is far too superior to spell his name the normal way :)
Yes. His first episode.
Wow mike telling some truth there in that casting couch bit. Yikes!
he soon will be xD
and too right, he's awesome!
Is Mike making a constipated face when Josie grabs him at 8:13 ?? Maybe he's trying to be stoic? I unno, but it made me laugh so damn hard. XDD
One of my dream line-ups!
I miss John already! I hope that he comes back at some point this series.
I know she looks great lol.
Gotta love how appalling the fashion was back then.
GREG!!!
I was never a huge fan of the game Authors. It was a good example of their wit but most of the time I am only familiar with one or two of the author/book styles that they are doing.
There are a lot of authors out there and the chances of any audience memboer being familiar with any four random authors is low
So It was Greg That Came first before Ryan?
tony's cute :)
uk version
LOL
@DarkRw1995 He looks like a kid here though! :D
Tony is so skinny!
josie dit the c at te wrong side at 9:03 :p
these series 2 episodes are far better than series 1. series 1 is poor. i think it started to really take of from series 4x01.
I suppose that's fare.
I wouldnt say the US version sucks. I agree that Drew was a pretty pathetic host and that the UK version was superior (in my opinion) but the US version still had a lot of great moments.
Yay, finally they got rid of John Sessions. Now they just need to get rid of the author game
I have to disagree. In my opinion Drew was at least as good a host as Clive was, even though his jokes were a little flat and he was trying a little too hard to be funny. But his addictive laugh which always makes me laugh along when I hear it makes up for it.
Neither are you
Wow... this is when Josie actually looked good...
You are simply and American, who wouldn't know what the other performers could do. Colin and Ryan are excellent without each other and you should be more tolerant. :D
I think he is what is known as 'black Irish', due to his dark hair
You're right, they are. But i still think the US version is SLIGHTLY better xD
I also prefer the US version. Not because i don't understand, but the US version is just funnier.
this just isnt good
The UK version isnt funny to me at all.
