when characters are looking to buy shares from you, the profits stat is better names cashflow, so its not tracking how much you will be making on the deal but how much cashflow you will lose per quarter
Is this guy making things hard for himself on purpose? It's piss easy to quadruple your money in a couple of quarters, that's the current problem with the game - all you have to do is to make the company you have shares in a bit more profitable and you'll be rolling in dough as the AI lines up to buy your shares.
The most recent version of the game has a bug where companies strike for a year at a time and cause player owned businesses to go bust - it definitely adds to the challenge!! 😆

this game had so much potential, but it looks as though the devs have stopped supporting it.
Potato maybe you should play through the game first and understand the mechanics before showcasing a game.
