Isn't it so very meaningful, and personally rewarding, when we reach the level of maturity and self-awareness that we can make such decisions rather quickly and with confidence? Excellent job! And don't be too harsh on yourself for the generous "pink environment"; it can still be used in combination with say -- white or grey or silver or powder blue or mint green [perhaps thin vertical or horizontal stripes - or both, to make a pretty faux plaid?] over the top of the existing] that would reduce the pink, but still look lovely. I have a powder room done in the palest mint green on the painted walls and then baby pink in the towels and 1 or 2 accent items. The pastels make it not so wearisome over time, and is easily changed up whenever I feel like it.

i love the minimalism and i learn a lot seeing videos like it, but the most loving thing that i can proudly remark is that in every minimalist house there are cats. They are the most beautyful and wise company

I'm a sucker for decluttering videos (and I'm in luck, because I *just* got a notification that you uploaded a new one!) I chuckled when you opened and closed the sock drawer multiple times, like you didn't want to deal with it 😄
I love drawers - the inside of my wardrobe is all drawers at the bottom and rails at the top. I think drawers are so much more neat and tidy than shelves. Btw I own like 5 socks and I live in Switzerland but I just hate socks 😒
I agree, they look so much tidier don't they! Hahahah I was horrified when I saw how many socks i've hoarded over the years 😂 I now own about 5 pairs too which is much better! 😂

It's funny, but when I came back from 8months traveling I felt exactely the same. I think I got rid of 4 washing baskets full of clothes 🙈 and still have too much but it feels so good to declutter your wardrobe/room whatever. Funny how much we think we need and in reality really don't use.
