Yes, I do believe that the end is near, but the evaluation of each human included the GB is in Christ hands, Christ is the high priest and judge appointed by Almighty GOD YHVH..and he is kind and merciful...they are putting themselves in Christ position.

There are many more "mistranslations" in that book, I refuse to call it a "Bible." Verses have been changed, twisted, words have been omitted, so on and so forth. Jehovah's Witnesses DO NOT relish the destruction of worldly people, but they are not to feel sorry for them either. (Jeremiah 7:16) They do not take delight in the death of the wicked. (Ezekiel 33:11) However, they realize that some of their family members might not make it through Armageddon and into the new system. Jesus himself stated that a man's enemies will be those in his own household. (Matthew 10:36) Of course, that is not to be taken literally today, but it illustrates that a man's family may oppose him learning about Jehovah. Jehovah's Witnesses love their family members very much, but they love Jehovah even more. Abraham was a prime example of not only faith but of love and loyalty. Abraham loved his son Isaac, but he was willing to offer up his son for Jehovah which was a testament to his faith, love, and loyalty. (Genesis 22:1-12) Abraham could have refused, but his love and loyalty to Jehovah superseded his love for his son. I know that is an extreme example, but it is an example of Jehovah's people putting Jehovah first no matter what.
Jehovah will Judge his own house first. do not forget that.
