for example a calm mind gets u +1 spatk and spdef stage (called +1 for short)
+1 stage = x1.5
+2 stages= x2
+3 stages = x2.5
+4 stages = x3
+5 stages = x3.5
+6 stages (equivalent of 6 calm minds or 3 nasty plot or 2 tail glows) = x4
