The deck seems very oppressive. Its endboard is nothing to scoff at and might be stronger than yubel and voiceless voice in my opinions. Wonder why I didn't see them much in rank. Overall, nice game as always. Now it's time for me to catch up on the other videos

Gravekeepers and Madolche are probably my favorite fun decks whenever I'm not taking anything too seriously

Great gameplay as usual, always a treat to watch

One of the main reasons I love sky striker. It’s a very unforgiving deck that goes both ways. You can’t just yes click and spam every interruption you have against it, but you also can’t misplay when playing the deck or else your performance plummets. It forces your opponent to actually use their brain if they wanna win, also allows you as the pilot to break pretty much any board in the game so long as you play it correctly. One of the only decks in the game that actually requires thinking from both players unfortunately.

Fun fact: Madolche was my first competitive rogue deck in MD, now you know, its not Sky Striker lol - Havent played a going 1st deck for so long i almost forgot how their going 2nd replays usually look like, also Madolche uses lots of monster effects to combo so thats quite easy to interact with so the deck is definitely not inheritently good going 2nd, resulting in this handtrap warfare. With that being said, its one of the better going 1st deck with the new supports. - Important notes on this decklist: U absolutely have to be able to play through at least 1 and a lot of times, 2 handtraps going first. Thats why i have more than the usual amount of starters in this deck with 3 Pettingcess, 3 Hootcakes and 3 of each Vernusylph. If you full combo, obviously those could be considered excessive but if i open multiple starters, i can play through handtraps easier and depends on when my opponent handtraps me, i will play the starters accordingly. Using 1 Droll and 1 Nib and 1 Imperm so i can Cross them Out, otherwise i decided not to run more of those, Sphere Mode never came up for me so consider cutting it for another handtrap (preferable monster so u can pitch it off the Vernusylphs). Prioritizing winning all games going 1st was my main goal and this list is more consistent if u play more starters, i had enough of bricking with Madolche in the past that i knew what i had to do going into this season. My main problem with the deck in the past was that it didnt have much even full combo-ing going first, now, not anymore :D Madolche Ticket is, imo, good to run, dont cut it (altho i understand why u would do that). It helps playing through handtraps much better if u go through some obscure lines that u dont usually do. It also adds more body on the board during ur opponent's turns, making your field much more resilient and Puddingcess's secret battle effect came in handy a lot of times for me in that case. Really happy to be playing Madolche again, now ur aware that its one of my pet decks. But the thing about going 1st combo decks is that u dont have much room to be creative a big protion of ur deck is kinda fixed, its not easy to try new tech options that could come up frequently. I dont think ill play it much after this, just excited to try out the new supports after so long. Also, cant believe i would be skipping my own combo one day lol. Remind me if i missed anything but im pretty sure this might be the first time theres no cards that was shown in replays but not in the final decklist, could be wrong But i actually changed the ratio of cards in the list quite a handful of time so its definitely not a fixed list right from the start. Anyway, u would be crazy to think that ill play the same decklist twice in a row, thats not happening lol. This month we try out Protos cuz if u think about it, its a good card going 2nd still. We have 3 ways of preventing Tenpai if forced to go first: Draw or Thrust into Roar Make Sanaphond (Tho this still dies to Trident popping Field Spell + another card i just got reminded lol so maybe u just bite the bullet and set an extra droplet/anchor for precaution unlike what i did in replay 2) Make Protos and call Fire with Kagari on the field The latter 2 plays horribly into Maxx "C" tho lol and the 3rd one specifically requires u to already have follow ups next turn which u dont usually have. So to be completely honest with you, if ur most common matchup is still Tenpai (over 50%), last month's list is always gonna be better. *Notable things from this month's decklist: - Since we r trying out Protos and have no way of searching it reliably, insane draw power is to be expected with Upstart, Chicken Game, Allure, Imsetty and the 1 of Desires. U can also see that we r playing at a faster pace this time around with the Horus to ensure we have more damage to avoid going into the grind game often cuz this is not built to last for several turns (the opposite of last month). - The Horus have their own pros like pushing the game faster, Imsetty being a Dark fits the bill for Allure of Darkness and it in itself is a way to thin ur deck. But the con is that u play into things that u have no business playing into normally as Sky Striker, monster negates and Called By to name a few. We r also only running 2 of them cuz 3rd one usually bricks a lot and i oftenly only need 2. - With Protos, its weird sometimes against Tenpai, for example, if ur forced to go first and decide to make Protos calling Fire turn 1 and destroying Kagari in the process, during their next turn, they have an option to not summon anything and ull be stuck with Protoss in the Main Monster Zone, not being able to call Fire anymore, so it's advisable to only do that when u have Raye or Horus for ur turn 3 to keep things going. - Forbidden Droplet was added back cuz i expected to see Melodious but.....what happened? if any of u is a pure Melodious player, lemme know how it goes cuz im not seeing enough Pure Melodious atm, whenever theres a Melodious monster showing up, its usually in a random Pendulum pile for some reason which is odd to say the least. This reminds me of Wakaushi's engine in other decks. With that being said, Droplet actually served me well this month so i do think its a necessary inclusion for this list. - Theres no Linkage, but unironically using Roze for the GY effect. I resolved that effect a ton this month and everytime it was detrimental, maybe becuz this build has the Horus that can run over things in the extra monster zone more often (with the help of King's Sarc) that i dont oftenly have to steal the mon anymore, weird how that works but at least this time Roze shows her value. - This deck is easy to mis-sequence the plays, and sometimes its not even ur fault cuz u have to assume what the unknown card ur opponent has is to play around it. For example, if u have Imsetty + Allure of Darkness, u might wanna go Allure to play around Called By or Ash better but sometimes Allure draw 2 might not get there but the free 2 Horus monsters will, its just fascinating, Certainty vs Probability. Thats just one of the many situations. - The most common matchup is still Tenpai, unsurprisingly. It becomes less common for sure thanks to ppl starting to make decks that intentionally beat it but thats really bad for us cuz we have to deal with other decks as well and at the same time still have to include a fail safe for Tenpai, honestly quite frustrating and interesting at the same time lol. Overall, i still made to M1 with this deck but it wasnt that smooth compared to last season. Resolving Protos going 2nd multiple times tho is....something else entirely. Nó để có thể dis 1 mongan xong when khi nor summon thì op ko kích eff quái đc Nhưng tui dùng xong nor summon vẫn bị như bth😅 Deck brick tht sự ko sai đâu, việc tenpai bị lá thrust khắc chế nhiều nên h tụi nó quen nên hardtrap rất kĩ, trên tay có chổi,lightstom,... Thì chả bao h dùng. Nên việc op ko kích eff quái khiến deck tht sự brick👀👀
