We review a 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale Veloce, which is a plugin hybrid (PHEV) compact crossover SUV sharing its platform with Dodge Hornet and competing with cars like an Audi Q3, BMW X1, BMW X2, Mercedes GLA, Mercedes GLB, Jaguar E-Pace, or a Volvo XC40. Another SUV offered by the Italian manufacturer is Stelvio.

Don't understand why Hornet exists if they have this. Wouldn't even consider Dodge (especially a one made in Italy)

The Alfa definitely has more "premium" feel to it but if you don't want the complicated hybrid system, the Dodge offers a conventional powertrain with a 2-liter turbo-4. The Hornet is also a cheaper proposition.
