Everybody already knows that Tim, Nick, Phil & Jordan are beasts as well...but, Josh has always been the hero of the band's balanced sound. The most underrated member. I liked Clint back in the day, but Josh is so crucial; both vocally and in terms of musicianship.
Similar thing happened to Tim during 94 Hours in Budapest, so Tim went for Josh's mic lmao

Why would anyone be hurt by facts? I know why he was gone and for what he was gone, but i don't care about that. I care about him since he makes good music, i don't follow him for any moral advice. For all i care he could be a murder, rapist, vegetarian or child molester, as long as he makes good music he got my support.
The fact that he was in prison isn't any contradiction to my original comment, my hope that they will make a new album is if fact still true, no matter if he was in prison or not. The fact that it was quite a while since they made a new album also stands true, no matter if he was in prison or not. And lastly the song still remains good, no matter if he was in prison or not.

I am really happy that these guys are back together. There are no bands like this out there anymore. The energy they bring with them is incredible. I met them dozens of times and went to countless shows. Its humbling to see them grow and work through their struggles. We all fuck up in life, some are big and some are small. But let's not judge our brother, we need to forgive each other and learn from our mistakes... 🤘 sorry for the rambling

Tim looks uncomfortable and his screaming is not where it used to be. Hopefully he just needs some time to get back into the groove of things. Really happy to see the band back together.
What was awesome to see though is at the end of the show you could see it in his eyes how thankful he was to be back out with the band. He kept looking at the crowd with what almost looked to be like tears in his eyes. Such an awesome band and I am extremely happy they are back out doing what they love.
Up in Mesa he looked like he was in tears a few times, after my own grave especially. He was just so grateful that he can do this again. And the crowd was fucking insane, so glad to have As I Lay Dying back!
I think Tim sounds pretty good here, especially when you consider that he's still trying to get back in the swing of touring.

How was the show in riverside?
So awesome! They really undersold themselves this tour. The venue was tiny and the crowd was out of control, knocking shit over on stage. The acoustics and audio equipment of the space weren’t the best so it really felt like a dive bar show. Last time I saw them at Soma in SD the sound check and levels were much better for that space.
So do they got a new album coming out or what???
I would think they would have something in the works.
