The Dark side is not evil. It is a tool to be used against the enemies of the Force. Fueled by Passion, but tempered by Compassion. It is the role of the Sith to wage war and it is the role of the Jedi to guide them towards a Just one. Hopefully someday our world's people will come to realize that balance can't be found alone in dark nor light.
The Force is there to balance out the Darkness that already existed in the galaxy, as the dark (selfishness, lust for power, evil acts), is inherently present among sentient beings. People abusing the force for their own ends is a cancer in the force which it wants to rid itself of. So the force is light, and with the darkside removed (the corruption of the force), the force provides the balance against the darkness of the galaxy. I think the EU confused a lot of people as to the nature of the force per George Lucas’s vision, but it is stated in the films what balance means (no darkside, not balance between light and dark), and Lucas has talked about this many times
@@westington1 I'm not beholden to one timeline nor one man's vision. I've seen much and have shaped my own opinions. Just as Darkness is inherently present, so is Light in the form of Hope, Joy, and Love. The Force doesn't change who we are, it only reveals it. Love itself is proof that there's no pre-determined state for the Force. As it's lead many beings with or without the Force to Darkness or Light. Power is foolish without Wisdom, and Wisdom is useless without Power. How much of one or another an individiual needs depends on their own point of view.
The Jedi became the law enforcement arm for the republic at the end of the last Ruusan war. A thousand years of "keeping the peace" solidified that. The fact that their temple sat atop a Sith temple that sat atop a dark nexus enured them to the darkness around them and obscured the path they were taking. By the time of the Clone Wars it only seemed natural that they become war leaders as well.

Obi-Wan was exactly right, but that was the point of tbe Clone Wars. Sure Palpatine was trying to corrupt Anakin and the Republic his goal at the end as far as the Jedi goes was to show just how stagnant they had become, enough so that a genuinely good Jedi Master turned to the Sith as his valid concerns for how the corrupt the senate were largely ignored, and then if they'd of taken a step back and not get involved in the Clone Wars then their own clones wouldn't of gunned down nearly every Jedi.

The Republic and the Empire both deserved to fall.
I completely agree. Clone Wars were abomination of the Force. Of peace and justice. Obi-Wan is completely right. Revan was completely right to go to war with Mandalorians. He gathered few Jedi, group turned the tide, gave Republic Army time to reorganize, recuperate and Mandalorians were defeated. They were completely smashed to be precise. Dooku was completely right to fight for Serenno, his home. It took little time and he completely succeeded.. Jedi had no right to fight Separatists. It was political dispute. Republic should have form it's own army, like you said. Separatists just wanted to secede from the Republic. Many of the worlds just wanted equal rights, peace, freedom, justice. Especially one prestigious senator from Separatist space. Her son helped Ahsoka on Naboo. Jedi were servants of the Republic,of the Senate. They were sword of the galaxy. It would be completely different if Separatists atracked Republic worlds. May the Force be with you too😊Sterling Pacific looks very nice😁
It is evil. It's stolen power that has been corrupted by the sith. Only the light is the force, and the dark side unbalances it.

Jedi are great people , they do no terror
E
Sith only ratle the cage they don't rule the night
Oh and I‘m the first viewer even tho I‘m the 2nd like? How the chosen one is this possible?
Most channels now have memberships, members view videos before it's released for those of us that don't want to pay to support channels. Therefore it's highly likely the first like was either from a channel member or someone who hit like without watching
Why does it say that there is already 1 comment when this is the first one.
Day 281 of asking for a part 3 of what if anakin was trained by qui gon
Star Wars is unwatchable to me now so boring
first!
You forgot the part where the Jedi learned from that Mandalorian war that the Jedi actively involved themselves with the clone wars. Not to mention that Jedi were supposed to be near prescient. Not sensing the clone wars and sensing the dark side cloud is already a red flag.
