This video talks about a chronic disease called Endometriosis which effects over 10 million people world wide and has an average diagnosis time of 8 years. Endometriosis is classed as whole body disease. It is an invasive tissue that grows like a weed, invading healthy organs, fusing them together and it can also cause organ loss and infertility. The main symptom of endometriosis for me is extreme pain that causes dizziness, nausea and relentless episodes of vomiting. I had surgery to remove stage 4 endometriosis that was invading both sides of my pelvis and multiple organs, they unblocked my fallopian tubes, free up my ovaries which were heavily encased in endometriosis, removed endometriosis from my bladder & bowel, as well as cutting free my bowel which has been pulled, stretched and fused to another organ and they had to cut free both my Ureters, which were also encased in endometriosis (so glad I still have functioning kidneys!) and they removed endometriosis which had been growing deep in my muscle wall. Sadly surgery is not a cure and it's seen more as a maintenance procedure to help keep organs as healthy as possible. Raising awareness for this condition is so important and I hope one day there will be better treatment options and shorter diagnosis times. Emily, my wife has PCOS, Chronic Arthritis, Epilepsy, Sleep Apnea, Fibromyalgia, We watch you guys all the time and know Exactly what you mean about a good or bad day, John you are a legend its not easy to support someone who may not know how they are feeling from one minute to the next and it not be their fault you both just have to stay positive about it as a challenge, life deals those hands, I know full well It effects both your wellbeing and mental health, but Love endures, we have a 20 year old tourer too (6 berth) a doggy and 3 kids, middle son has ASD and my 7 year old daughter has a genetic disorder, explained in a comment left previously, you have no need to justify anything you do here, you are inspiring people and sharing that experience we think you are very brave and would love to come and stay with you guys next year, hopefully you may consider a temporary touring pitch where the 2nd guest cabin or main cabin will go before its built? that would be a game changer for you and your income from the land xx

I can sympathise, I had life threatening endometriosis too, I ended up having an emergency hysterectomy when I was 33 and it was literally life changing. I highly recommend it, no more pain, no more fatigue, no more chronic ill health. All the best, love the channel!
I had a hereditory condition with fibroids of the womb, they grow small & then multiple very big. Causes debilitating problems. Hysterectomy was the only option.

YURTS are a good bet for glamping as they are round and don't catch the wind. Also buses & coaches are great for glamping. Anything quirky for punters to make their holiday a different experience to tell the friends & family. 😊 Alpaca are great grazers hi octane poo for fert (must water it down) DO not get Goats!! or Ducks. I watch a few homesteading channels... and I hadn't yet found one in Wales... so I decided to subscribe. I'm in my mid-50s... but 40 years ago I had cancer... and the radiation treatments that "cured" the cancer left me with continuous degradation of my body. I have no salivary glands... I can no longer swallow... so I take everything in thru a feeding tube - but I stayed active as long as I could... owned several properties and was a landlord, basically... but now I pretty much have to stay still - so I live vicariously thru all you homesteaders. Thanks for sharing this journey of yours with us - I really enjoy watching you make progress toward the manifestation of your plans.

Endometriosis is cruel I know suffered from the age of 13. It's only just been recognised properly. It's the recovery after also low iron etc effect everything. Talking of paths, watching from Ross on Wye, I have catered parties and get togethers at a couple of glamping sites in Herefordshire and my comment would be that you need good paths from each tent and cabin to the various facilities and maybe solar lights. The sites get so muddy and this can transfer into the tents and facilities. Really enjoy watching your journey. Your enthusiasm and hard work.

For three and a half years, my wife and I, with our micro dog, lived full-time in an RV (fifth wheel toy hauler), traveling from Colorado to Florida to Pennsylvania to New Mexico, and nearly all states between. But in Autumn of 2024, we bought about five acres in semi-rural Alabama, with the intent of settling down, doing something between gardening and homesteading. I've been watching this channel for quite some time now, but recently have (obviously) fallen behind, due to being so busy on our own place.

I can sympathise, I had life threatening endometriosis too, I ended up having an emergency hysterectomy when I was 33 and it was literally life changing.
I highly recommend it, no more pain, no more fatigue, no more chronic ill health.

I had a hereditory condition with fibroids of the womb, they grow small & then multiple very big. Causes debilitating problems. Hysterectomy was the only option.

YURTS are a good bet for glamping as they are round and don't catch the wind. Also buses & coaches are great for glamping. Anything quirky for punters to make their holiday a different experience to tell the friends & family. 😊
Alpaca are great grazers hi octane poo for fert (must water it down) DO not get Goats!! or Ducks. Turkeys are a fun bird that graze too. 😊

I watch a few homesteading channels... and I hadn't yet found one in Wales... so I decided to subscribe. I'm in my mid-50s... but 40 years ago I had cancer... and the radiation treatments that "cured" the cancer left me with continuous degradation of my body. I have no salivary glands... I can no longer swallow... so I take everything in thru a feeding tube - but I stayed active as long as I could... owned several properties and was a landlord, basically... but now I pretty much have to stay still - so I live vicariously thru all you homesteaders. Thanks for sharing this journey of yours with us - I really enjoy watching you make progress toward the manifestation of your plans.

Endometriosis is cruel I know suffered from the age of 13. It's only just been recognised properly. It's the recovery after also low iron etc effect everything. I think you have done marvelous considering esp living in the caravan you so deserve moving into the tiny home. I'm gonna be so pleased for you both. Love the look of your plan so excieting. X❤

I’ve watched you for over a year but never figured out what part of Wales you were in until today. I spent a fair amount of time near Cynheidre, staying in in Swansea and enjoying places from St. David to Tenby to Mumbles to Cardiff. Had the great fortune to be a guest of the Lord Mayor at the Cockles and Celts Festival years ago. Keep doing what you’re doing and ignore anybody that tells you to do something different (unless it's structural or safety related). Love hearing about the ups and downs, the fails and successes. Talking of paths, watching from Ross on Wye, I have catered parties and get togethers at a couple of glamping sites in Herefordshire and my comment would be that you need good paths from each tent and cabin to the various facilities and maybe solar lights. The sites get so muddy and this can transfer into the tents and facilities. Really enjoy watching your journey. Your enthusiasm and hard work.

Your ethics and ideas resonate so perfectly with those of so many here in NZ. The gardening ones are amongst my favorites. I had/have endometriosis and so does my lovely daughter. I was so lucky to get both her and her brother. I made sure that she got treatment from age 14 as I didn’t want her to suffer as much as I did. It’s a terrible disease, crippling. I do feel for you.
