Definitely not a pro Robert, but the more I take engines apart and put them back together the more it becomes second nature. I need to start looking into bottom ends to better my knowledge. Changing cranks etc. I may have to play with my spare piaggio engine one day to see if I can change the crank

Looks like the piston has hit the inlet valves and bent them. That's why they're not closing. RIP engine.

If it happens to only be a valve and even piston then possibly saveable. Fingers crossed. Otherwise I'll have to fork out the big bucks for a second hand engine

B4 condemning the engine, why not time the valves and try to start it. You might get away with a timing chain and a tensioner

Been really ill again lately haven't watched any videos in a while but I'm back to normal and about to binge watch your videos. Hope the channels doing abit better mate?!
I know where one of these bikes have been stolen and dumped in croydon, got bent forks and no number plate. Its been on the pavement for ages

Hi Al, sorry to hear you haven't been well. I'm glad your feeling better mate. The channel does OK really overall. It pays out very little.
I'm going to open this engine up this weekend and see what's needed. Hopefully it's as simple as a new valve however that's very high hopes lol.

3 options there option 1 mate pull engine out and rebuild her opinion 2 buy a second hand engine opinion 3 find the nearest scrap yard good luck 🏍️🏍️
