The Burton Olivia storyline is just... I love it but I hate it for her at the same time. I legit am playing it out in the Sims 4 (a video game) complete with adding a mod that can make him an abusive drug addict and a teen pregnancy for her 😶
She can't forgive Barba. She said that he betrayed her when she asked him not to take this case. And she does understand why, he was protecting her. But Elliott is back...and she loves him since minute one. Unable to listen to her friends : Barba and Rollins. How weird/ funny ?!!? Both of them had to leave the show. No one from the good ol'years when she had to grow up. What she's been through, every thing is vanished taken away by the characters who are going... Nine or ten years, vanished into thin air. People who helped her to grow, blown away.. make room for the exe. producers / main characters back to partnership. - it was so unfair to fire Rollins/Kelli. --> so one question : who is getting younger as time pass by?
Well maybe if Serena wasn't reminding Olivia that she was a product of SA, abusing her over it AND using Burton as an excuse to lash out, then maybe Olivia would've been well prepared for what Burton did to her. Instead of protecting Olivia, Serena ABUSED her and used the fact that Olivia was being groomed as an excuse to further mistreat her - leaving her more vulnerable to him.
I should not have watched this. I have purposely not watched past season 22. Why does Olivia have to be hurt so often?! Give her some happiness that lasts, please. This wrecked me, and I couldn't even finish it.
