Hope they do episodes like this more often. Over 25 years of history we see the lives that were affected by the SVU team. I’d like to see some old criminals or even people who were falsely accused of crimes that had to deal with SVU grilling them for it.
I was quite surprised to see Maria again and how she changed after Benson rescued her all those years ago. I wouldn’t be surprised if she joins SVU later down the line.
Mariska Hargitay won her Emmy for the Maria Recinos episode and Mariska as Olivia Benson was the star of this episode and we saw that Benson could handle a situation without her partner Elliot Stabler played by Christopher Meloni by her side.

They took the story of Maria and Olivia from an actual case that was almost identical to this, the young woman in question became a police officer and is now not a Cadet she is a I think captain in her own right and it was because of a detective who listened a female detective listened.
perhaps, since she's now in the NYPD there may be a slight chance she may be assigned to the SVU, if that (depending on the writers/showrunners for this current and future seasons).

I hope to see Maria again. Please post another video of them reuniting. Plus, with a new addition to SVU, I would be seeing one of my fav Actresses Selena Gomez. She can pull off any role that she can do.

I am sick of her drama now. She is getting really annoying episode by epispde. Duarte died.. why didnt she? Nobody called a hit on her. Oscar papa said he adored her,like seriously? .. just because she is exec. Producer,so everything is about her now. She gets attacked by two kids while 7 guys attack duarte horribly.. that was really stupid.
Because of Olivia, Maria became a cop. Pretty cool that they met again after all these years.

That's what I'm hoping to see in Season 26. The SVU is getting up there in age. Capt. Olivia would be a perfect mentor for Maria.
