On God who decided it would be a good idea to get rid of the previous chief garland he was a great character not sure if it was due to outside forces but it seems like a step down to have garland leave for story reasons even though he had great chemistry with the cast only to be replaced by magraff it just at this point in the show and in her career Olivia doesn't need anyone to talk Down to her and show her more ropes we had 20 years of that that's what cragen and Declan were for now for me it just seems like this character is more obsessed with stats and closing cases quickly than the victims idk man nobody likes the new chief ever since he was introduced hope they do find something on him to get his character taken off or suspended or something as I felt garland was done a disservice only to have this guy take his place Smh IMO 😮💨

The new season finally shows he’s not the only one that is not that good at what he does, his family is just as bad claiming Olivia wants his job but thankfully he lost his job!

All jokes aside, I kinda hate Chief McGrath. He’s so arrogant and he always has to meddle in the SVU’s business (especially Olivia’s), not to mention he doesn’t care about any victims. The one where the moms of toddlers fell victims to being raped by the man with the ice cream truck and McGrath only cared about the white mom and not the Hispanic mom pissed me off so much. Like, Cragen would never! He would have wanted the perp to held accountable and get justice for the victims. If he just let Olivia and Fin do their jobs and actually cared about victims, I wouldn’t mind him so much. But he’s such a prick. I hate him.
The chief is right. The Boss is the one who is not to be messed with, not a subordinate. No cop would last 30 seconds in real life who tried this, nor would anyone else in a similar situation. This show is so very unrealistic.
Benson has the scariest stare down eyes. Because her eyes are so doe like and soft. So when they're wide with anger, that sh*t is scary.
