Great video Nick.
Thank you Nick.
Quite early
Nick is one of the people of all time
Agreed Nick.
It's really nice seeing him wanting to learn from all of these chefs instead of trying to steal the show. Shows that Nick is really humble
i made such a good dish i could feel gordon ramsay coming inside of me

they really were all great teachers
I'm really liking the more calm attitude from Nick. There's a lot to learn from the back of house- love the professional side. Nick's got it.
@@abrararifify This isn't how he usually is, I think it's just the vibe of the fancy restaurant he's in
If you watch his earlier videos he talked exactly like this
Exactly
John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 10:9-10, 13 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
yo momma got it too
Nick's food analysis is incredible, the range of adjectives are truly extensive - 'good', 'really good', 'cool' etc
😂😂😂
As a content creator, especially one that’s tasting food, you really have to be more articulate. We all want to know what the food tastes like.
I love how even with small efforts Nick contributed in this episode he still gives appraisal to the chefs for their hard work and passion demonstrated in their food. Amazing video, really brought me back to the good restaurant working times experiencing bringing new flavors together.
Lots of camaraderie -- one of the things I love most about a kitchen.

Gotta be me
This is by far my favorite video you've made. Love seeing this experience, thanks for sharing Nick.
You here ? Didn't expect that but then I remembered you're a chef too so that makes sense.
Love your videos
where's the working for 24 hrs? Just tried each task once then watched people work. Probably didn't even last 24 hrs. Joshua Weissman did it.. BUT BETTER.
I love the fact that in the end of your dinner you took care of the whole hard working staff with a simple but awesome surprise . Congratulations!
Ikr, it is kinda funny that they thanked the staff of a fancy ass 3 Michelin-star restaurant with burgs and pizza but I'm sure they appreciated it
@@mrlmaokun it’s the literal equivalent of a pizza party at work. Just give them money even if it seems worse than full price.

Yes
Nick's pullout game isnt that good 💀
Nick never disappoints with the quality of his content. He makes the best cooking content
I AM THE ONLY HUMAN STANDING 😮💨
Tf is this?
Do what my name says
Yea, all the fast food videos really show off how great of a cook he is!
@Patrick39 wtf is happening
the best compliment is the facial expressions.
not the delicious, the words, pleasantries.
just seeing the melancholy on the face after taking a bite is the best compliment anyone can give.
no excessive explanation on what the texture or taste it. just simple introductions and tasting with a bit of feedback
This kitchen looks amazing to work in. Wish we did family meals out ours 😩
They don't let you do a family meal? You gotta get out of there, fam. That's like the most basic courtesy a restaurant should extend to their staff.
@@eliasroos7185 yeah the place I work at is shit, great people but the company treats us like shit and overworks us lmao. No family meals but we get a discount 🤣🤣
I didn't understand what a family meal was till I just looked it up. My place just gives us a 50% discount that we can only get when we're on the clock.
@@alfierocks67 You definitely deserve better. The fact that you even look at this kind of content in your off time tells me you're passionate about what you do, and belong somewhere that'll let you explore and grow.
The creativity this guy puts in his vids is insane everytime u watch his vids it's something new and different love u Nick
Look how far you've come Nick from masterchef , it feels like you were in the masterchef yesterday and now you've turned into a great chef.
He's become the master chef
You missed it, it was right there
@lShowSрееd 🅥 pls reply
@Kavetion shut up dude this is all you comment go touch grass
He always a good chef even on masterchef what do you u mean
I used to be a server at higher end restaurants.
It was difficult because the chefs expected us to know how they prepared things without ever explaining it to us.
Nothing like a Michelin restaurant but it's nice to finally see the details that go into the prep work and the cooking of it all.
I didn’t see Nick working in the kitchen… it feels more like a documentary rather than him working for 24 hours
Nick's appreciation for the process and preparation of each meal was beautiful. The mark of a True Chef! 🙌🏽👑
its amazing how many people and how much work goes into a restaurant like this , pretty cool watching them explain what they do , and how they do it.
Couldnt agree more, but I genuinely dislike how little quantity the food comes in

@@keanukoren6109Usually a menu is from 6 to up to 12 different plates. Plus desserts + cheese. Don't worry you'll never leave the restaurant hungry.

i love this type of video, personally i would love to see more like this since it shows how the kitchen works in a restaurant and I'm trying to get where he was, so watching this while studying to become a chef/cook, it makes me want it more, so much more, absolutely loved this vid

I love the way these chefs, introduce vegetables on the menu! Simple yet elegant and refreshing 👍
Really loved the video. You explained all the dishes so well, I almost felt I was there myself.
Damn, I walk by these restaurants every day on my way to work, and I've always wanted to give them a try. Now that I'm seeing this video, I'm definitely gonna plan my next restaurant meal to be here!
Amazing!
Loving the content and consistency Nick!
1. This video was great honestly it’s so nice to see how much effort actually goes into the food it’s amazing to see how everything is prepared and the restaurant being like a family.
2. I don’t always wear a black shirt…when I’m not filming I wear a white shirt😂
Love your vids nick!
Holy fuck the editing is awful.
this was a great episode !! cooks and chefs are undervalued in SF, you really highlighted the life, much respect!
Nick is literally the reason i started cooking and he's like a younger version of Gordon but maybe better, Keep up the hard work and determination nick!
Now that you mentioned he's the younger version, I can't unsee it
He is a calmer version of Gordon 🤣
@@le9335 but they both have the same drive to learn from other chefs

The thing i love about Nick is how humble he is in his mannerism to this day! I aspire to be as great of a chef and human as you Nick 🔪😎
This was amazing! The fact that so much work goes into prep before service is insane! This restaurant truly deserves three Michelin-Stars.
The more expensive a resturant is the lesser food there is on the plate.
This was great, I loved the chats with all the chefs and what they do in the restaurant. Please do this again!!!
I was thinking please if you do this again maybe at an Asian style restaurant.
As a chef, this video is absolutely awesome. This is a true kitchen video. Love it
Loving this and love Quince! Takes me back to the tough but very rewarding time I had there and all the talented chefs I met. Chef Keegan you are ingrained in my mind for life, Cecilio te amo hermano ❤
Loved the video nick, could not have explained the dishes better and I could almost taste the food. Great job!
As a chef watching this it gave me so much inspiration and wanting to go and try places like this
Man's so genuine. Nick #1 Cooking content creator
Nick is just so calm and humble. He doesn’t want to steal the show, he just wants to have fun.
The great thing about Nick is he is always doing things that help him learn and perfect his craft
“If it grows here, we’ll grow it” nice👌
I appreciate how he put up definitions for all the terms that were used. I’m learning a few things.
I feel like Nick has some great qualities and traits and perspectives =) really enjoy watching your content and hearing your calming commentary =)
Nicks shows so much genuine interest in what he’s doing that it makes me more interested
I know Nick is a stylish young man but to any MAMAS in the comments- I bought my first pair of Madewell jeans in 2016 when I was 6mo postpartum with my first baby, they are hands down THE BEST jeans ever! The only brand I’ve purchased since. They’re so forgiving!
Love these kind of videos from Nick

The fact that he said pulling out isn't his forte 😂😂 8:05

Omg I live in Marin!! How exciting that such an amazing farm is so close to me!!
And this is just me being picky but in the graphic of nick and manny driving over the golden gate they’re going from marin to sf instead of sf to marin, so those beautiful mountains are actually in Marin!!

I like how the portion sizes progressively get smaller 😂
I really like these slow and long format videos.
7:55 "That makes Perfect Sense" was the most sarcastic thing ever
Nick is my favorite food content creator. considering he never fails to cook delicious food.
Nick is probably one of the best ad sponsors out there, he sponsored it 2-3 times throughout the video, while most just do the bare minimum.
Like most people. I prefer the minimum.
awesome video. don’t really
comment that a lot but i appreciated this 👍
Im suprised nick didnt make a 'thats what she said' joke at 8:00
Hello, Nick! Me and my mother love watching you!
That's cool ! I lost my Mom a few years ago. She used to make her own pasta for chicken/dumplings. She never used a pasta machine. She rolled & cut noodles by hand! Nick- I could do this too (if I had a good knife) !

Not as fun as it looks lmao
He not a chef he a tv show winner
People are shocked by the prices at places like this but look at the technique, time, and work that goes into service there. You’re paying for the impeccable sourcing and preparation. It’s incredible.
8:00 “insert the tip all the way up”… very proud of nick for the no reaction😂
My sentiments exactly. Shows how much respect and maturity Nick has.
Nick you really know how to impress us all in each vid 😅
You are so lucky! I work are a crappy buffet at a school and would love to get into a place like this.
Dang- loved this change of scenery, great video
Did they just...steam the crab alive?
Yeah.....i was about to say that
Crab is almost always cooked alive as the meat can deteriorate very, very quickly after death. Cooking them live ensures that the bacteria has minimal time to affect the meat
@@eriksucksatgames huh did not know that. Sucks to be a crab in fine dining :/

First of your videos I actually watched it all the way, make more like this
Nice to see you in SF! As someone who lives in the presidio, I hope you enjoy your stay!
I found the video really Interesting it was nice to see how everything works behind the scenes besides 1 think I didn't like at all that 8:40 the king crab was tortured and steamed to death why you don't Kill the King Crab before than cool it than steam it no living being should be tortured. You can Kill them with out pain through machines like crustastun.
Bro do you eat meat from the supermarket.
Cause i have stories for you if you are interested about slaughter houses.
"The crab suffered" man shut up always someone to find negative stuff to say, i must sound virtous online i'm doing something yayyyy!
@@disliked1390 To your Question No, I don't eat meat from the supermarket, I am a vegetarian . 2 Thing i am not from the USA and I know that you do so much shit in your slaughterhouses. At least in my country I know if I would get meet I would go to a butcher where they are killed immidently( Before slaughter, the animals are stunned with electricity or carbon dioxide (CO2) and not like this poor King Crab steamed to death.3 I can say whatever I want and you can also say whatever you want and 4 I don't even have to insult like you who lacks arguments and therefore has to insult because he can't think of anything better.
@@dn1 ah a vegan that's why ok. y'all always feel the need to scold everyone. makes total sense now
@@disliked1390I guess you are dyslexic because you can't distinguish vegans from vegetarians (which I am very sorry for) and I am not scolding you I am just pointing out a grievance to make the video maker or whoever reads my comment reflect on their moral attitude towards lobster or king crab eating. If you want to eat a lobster or a king crab in such a restaurant, you should be aware that the animal was tortured to death for your pleasure of taste. It is clear to me that my comment created reactance by you since your brain is too deficient to analyse a comment and your own behavior. You feel personally attacked by me or better saying by my comment, so just ignore it dude because it is already too late for you anyways.
