    That looks fishy down there, and snaky. LMAO. Have me laughing on my lunch. Great video. I camped at Crowley BLM Campground the same weekend with my family and friends but would love to camp at these sites. Working on acquiring a proper rig. Thanks for the awesome content.

      Thanks Arch...But I'm not sure about that...I'm just a guy that shoots some random videos and does his best job with Final Cut Pro. I think it's my passion that helps create the content.     Oh dang that was a nice campsite. I used to live in June Lake and used to take one of the rental boats back there. My dog loved the area. Never thought about camping there.

    Great vid. I grew up just up the road in Lee Vining. Haven't been back in years, but planning an August trip and was thinking of camping there on the back side of Grant.

      We leave for on another trip this Saturday...Out plan is to head up towards Bridgeport. We do love it there too. We spent a 4th of July there once, and it was memorable. Thanks for the comment.

    I was shocked in your video at how much snow was gone in Mammoth Lakes! We were there at the beginning of April and there was so much snow that they had caravans of trucks hauling out the snow.

And I thought your music just the best. I look forward to checking out more of your channel even though I don't 4 x 4 or fish, although I don't mind fishing.     Jnky, huge fan. Spent last weekend in same spot. Water level 15’ higher but equally beautiful. Agreed top camp spot anywhere.

    Love the video would there be any anyway you’d be willing to share where this is? Just finishing up final touches on my overland trailer. And I’m planning a trip with my grandsons early summer. I particularly like the area your camped in at the beginning of part two.

    They finally opened the 108 hwy (Sonora Pass) 2 days ago. It was gorgeous when we went through there on our way to Nevada side of Lake Tahoe via 395.

    The backside of Grant Lake is spectacular. It's my old stomping grounds, I've been to that exact spot more times than I can count. I grew up in June Lake, lived in town just down the street from the Tiger Bar. Glad you guys are back making great content again!

      Very cool! We visited the same spot again a few days ago just because it was so spectacular the first time. Incredible how much more snow melted and how much higher the lake is in just 2 weeks…

    Camped at that exact spot on Grant in June of 2020, while the campgrounds were still closed for COVID. First off grid camping trip and that was my first spot. That was a wet winter too. Looked exactly the same.

    I've been to the Owens Gorge before but not that area. I didn't realize there were so many camping options with great view up there. Also, an electric chainsaw is pretty handy for these kinds of trips. I've got a simple Ryobi and it does really well. Love that there's still so much snow out there. We really needed it!

    Did you get up around Conway Summit and Virginia Lakes? I’m guessing that the road to Virginia Lakes is most likely still closed as the elevation (if my old memory is working) is just shy of 10,000’. I look forward to more of your vids to bring back memories from decades ago. Have you done much exploring in the Sweetwaters off 182 (I forget the number it changes to when you cross into NV) past Bridgeport Reservoir where you turn left at the Sweetwaters Ranch? I love all your vids especially those along the Eastern Sierras, that’s the only part of Ca I miss since moving out of the state almost 10 years ago.

    One of the nice things with The Ursa and my new GFC. If you park right when there is wind. That hard roof works like a wind block.

    Looks like an awesome trip!! In a couple weeks I'll be taking a trip through June Lake down to Alabama Hills. Could you share the names of the trails you took along Grant/June Lake and the Owens River from Bishop? The scenery there looked amazing. Looks like the Mammoth Lakes area will still be snowed in unfortunately

      @@395jnky tried to make it and couldn’t the ruts where so bad haha. And the wind was to strong to camp the night unfortunately.
