Good to know. We purchased a used 2020 4Runner SR5 and the salesman did not share the safety sense and the pre collision did not work. We never knew the 2020 4Runner SR5 had pre collision. Should the dealer pay to have the pre collision fixed as we paid for the 4Runner get certified?
There is Also a Chrome Accent on the front Grill that has been added for 2020. Which doesn't get a mention enough. And Toyota leaving out 'blind spot monitoring ' Is just plain lazy Or Stingy, take your pick!!!

If the pre-collision light is on there could be something that is obstructing the front-facing radar and/or front-facing camera. You can go through your MID and turn your pre-collision system off. And then turn it back on to see if that helps.

A base SR5 Tacoma will have synced navigation using either Android Auto, Apple CarPlay or Entune. To get integrated navigation you'll have to get the parking sonar and navigation package which is only available on the V6 models.
@@ESPE2M1 Yes. If your 2020 Tacoma does not have dynamic(integrated) navigation, to get navigation you'll have to sync your phone to the vehicle via USB.
@@nathanielholmes377 seems like it would be worth upgrading to the SR5 premium with integrated navigation then. I would imagine having to sync my phone Everytime I need navigation would be annoying.

This car doesn't have rear cross traffic alert? Toyota just lost a sale. I'm shopping for a new vehicle for my grandparents and that is a deal breaker.

I was about to head to the dealer and have them show me how it worked. Thank you for stating that the trucks don't have it. It was so overwhelming when they where showing me how it all worked on just a purchase test drive.

Running boards aren't very expensive to add, but many guests choose to go without the boards to save on the overall cost of the vehicle.

I suggest you take it to your closet service center. They are equipped to properly diagnose any issues you are having.
