That is an awesome truck!!! I have the H3 and it runs awesome, I recently when off roading in a logging area where the mud is very deep and loose. It went through it like nothing, my buddy thought we were hung up on the top of a hill and I just put in in 4 low and crawled out. I wouldn't mind trying the H1 out!!! Wicked vehcles.
I remember an old hummer ad from late 1992 where in one scne it showed a hummer going through water then I remember in the last scene the hummer is oing into a dirt tunnel and it fades to black and the voice over says, Hummer, the legend grows. What would you you think if in the middle of the ad they added a clip of a hummer at a drive thru in the background then the next scene faded to a person eating her burger in slow motion while driving her hummer (before fading to the next scene)? I just remember seeing my parent and older sister eating mcds up front as a toddler and that is what popped into my head when I first saw the ad
It's the 98 promo. From 96 on, they were very similar. The biggest change on this promo vids came in 99 as the finisched the BTM and took TT4 as new traction system. Then again, from 2004 and newer, they had eaton e-lockers in front and rear. BTM and E-Locker are much more capable then the TT4.

When will AM Gen make civilian Hummers like this again? They should forget involving GM in the project because GM is stupid in making vehicles. GM ruined the Hummer brand with their stupid H2 and H3.
comparing this Hummer with an H2 or H3 just shows how ignorant people are. This is a military designed vehicle! H2 and H3 are useless commercial pieces of junk.
