- TSG is not just better than PSG but it's also starting to dominate the South African league.
This series is longer-form and more of a let's play than my previous videos, although each video will still make sense standalone.

FM24 squad building approach:
1. Fix the tactic first then recruit for the tactic
2. Squad grid - 2 per position
3. Sort out the finances
4. Player recruitment: Fill gaps, improve weak links (export attribute data from FM using filters then use python to rank and compare)
I love these videos mate, I use the online tool every transfer window. Is there a plan to get the trajectory tool online too? I've tried to do it myself and my little brain didn't succeed but I'd love to be able to use it for wonderkids.

Maybe at some point - would be a fair bit of coding. Can’t remember which video - one of the arsenal ones - I did do a step by step setup on the spreadsheet somewhere

If you look in the spreadsheet the numbers are there - I haven’t done every position but if you scroll back through by Twitter feed you’ll see a thread I did on how to infer other positions. Won’t be super precise but will be plenty good enough

Hi. I'm on the Japanese leg of a Pentagon, and I reckon I'll complete it soon. What are you looking for? I concentrated a lot on height/heading/jump reach/bravery in Japan as the game has most player characteristics as short / can't jump in that nation. Indonesia and Singapore usually offer decent options, and they are not foreign. I felt that Japanese players were usually good in AM/SC positions but poorer elsewhere, so I filled Defensive positions with foreigners. Not knowing who you are managing or what year you are in, it's hard to make any other suggestions, but I am with Fukushima and I've only started getting some excellent prospects once reputations in National and Continental were 3 stars. Won the league I've been in 4 consecutive seasons. J3 to J1. You do get some decent options eventually, but I went through a frustrating period of poor availability too. Yokohama get some excellent youth intakes but I can never afford them. If you are playing a Japanese career, I'd model against them. If you are in and out like I am, my youth is terrible because I don't care for bringing youth on in the game.
If you go back through my YT feed I did a Japan video - have a look at that and you’ll get some ideas I reckon. There are a lot of good domestic loans available in Japan. Focus on getting physical players as that’s rare in that league so works well
Love your videos. Like a lot of people I would like to see the trajectories reworked for more roles. Has anyone managed to successfully do it yet?
