    FALL FROM GRACE
The Land of Shadow. A place obscured by the Erdtree.
Where the goddess Marika first set foot.
A land purged in an unsung battle.
    Set ablaze by Messmer’s flame.
It was to this land that Miquella departed.
Divesting himself of his flesh, his strength, his lineage.
    Of all things Golden.
And now Miquella awaits the return of his promised Lord.
    Character Information
    Background / Motivation
_An older, classical knight. A Golden Order Fundamentalist who worships the Erdtree.
One of the earliest followers of Miguella. Believing that Miquella would be the future of The Lands Between.
Branded an Heretical Prophet, banished from The Lands Between after a vision where he saw fire and Miquella walking away from the Gorden Order. A vision he never believed could be real.
He continued bringing kindness to those who needed it outside of The Lands Between, just as Miquella would have done. Always hoping that he would one day find his Grace and set his eyes on the Erdtree again.
Now, he finds himself back in The Lands Between in search of answers. No longer recognizing the land where he was born and raised. What has happened to his beloved homeland? What happened to Miquella? Did he really betray the Golden Order as seen in his vision?_

I love the curseblade’s cirque and it’s probably the first new weapon that people see because they run into that masked curseblade in the gravesite plain.

As soon as I saw that enemy I thought, "Will we get to play with those???" 💯

The sound effect for the last killing hit on the ghostflame dragon was *chef's kiss* perfect. 39:49

I didn't even think to farm them for it. I got the smithscript cirque and though that was their weapon. I was glad to learn otherwise, because I'm not a fan of the throwing heavy.

While preparing for the dlc , I committed genocide against the Albinaurics countless times so I could buy 40 of each smithing stone and 8 of each somber stone. If only I would have known every other shiny and mob drop would be a stone.😢😢😢😢

Blue, I would pose that the upgrade materials are useful and fun to anyone doing something you rarely do, NG+. The ball bearing's don't carry over and getting to them would be a lot of work in some cases. Mainly the higher level ones. I know my son only cared about getting back to fight the bosses again, and did the bare minimum on most of his runs.

Oh fun fact, if you come to the stone coffin fissure before reaching the shadow keep, this area is blocked by a golden seal that says "Sealed by Miquella"

Oh! That's so cool. Glad I stumbled on it when I did.

Ah, so his Great Rune needs to shatter before you can get access to it.

As it relates to your question about the loot, I’m of 2 minds. Firstly, I would prefer if the loot was more “meaningful” but at the same time, I’m not terribly bothered. Most of the zones I’ve been to have offered some cool weapon, armor or spell.

I don’t like so many of the shinies being upgrade materials. They should have just put them as pick-up loot in dungeons/caves/graves/etc. The shinies are less shiny now.

That's what I'm thinking. Will that shiny be something interesting or my 114th Smithing Stone 6?

Thr DLC content more than full fledged AAA titles

Cerulean coast is almost as good as the Soifra region in the main game.... Maybe even better. I just looooove how gorgeous it is!

I dont mind the grave gloveworts or the smithing stones considering that depending on how one plays you can get to the dlc in Liurnia already where you really do not have all the bellbearings (my case for example as I went into the dlc in Ng+ with character that only just arrived into Liurnia. There is also quite a few new weapons and talismans that can seemingly allow for wider variety of builds (storm enhancing talismans etc.) so having steady income of upgrade materials while playing is great.

Isn't there a type of worm that lives by the sea, or in, and ejects its innards as a defense mechanism? Kinda like the ribbon worm, maybe? I don't think they are earthworms for that reason. Although they do share appearance in their clitellum.... Side note: their faces are both creepy and cute lol
Also also... I think the big boats are sea bound mausoleums that held the Numen aka Shamans. "All manner of death washes ashore"

    • @Jea_4
      @Jea_4 7 днів тому +2

The stuff the cute worms spit out remind me more of the sea cucumber webs, but I agree with you that the ribbon worm is the inspiration for these guys.

You mentioned on how anyone is supposed to see shinys in the coast and you missed a shiny when you fought the cemetery shade looking to the island 😂

With so many new weapons available I don’t mind the shinies as upgrade materials! Apparently I’m in the minority here though. Sure, technically you can just buy them, but I’d rather not have to do that for EVERY new weapon type.

I see both sides of the argument. What's really starting to annoy me is the blue rarity items that are just runes. Honestly, at this point, just put a merchant in the DLC where the smithing stones are incredibly cheap.

    • @bluejay4960
      @bluejay4960 23 години тому +1

A merchant could also work (though it might make the miners’ bell bearings a little redundant…)

    • @BlueLizardJello

@bluejay4960 That's an entirely valid point! Anyway, the DLC is awesome. I heap enough praise on it, I just have to occasionally whine :)

Hey blue, I know you have other stuff going on just wondering, do you have any plans for continuing lords of the fallen?
