    Nothing will replace human to human interaction which is a fundamental pillar when it comes to personal training. I would say 9/10 of my clients train with me because they want a PERSON to guide them and teach them with the underlying human component. They want to feel understood emotionally, especially depressed and/or overweight clients. That's just been my experience.

    Thanks for covering this topic Jeff! I've been using ChatGPT to help me with my youtube descriptions and website SEO since those are challenging for me. You have a really good point about how it could impact search engine results for PT's down the road, but just like you said, the demand for in person gyms and personal trainers has exploded since the decline of the pandemic (at least in the San Francisco Bay Area)

      Yup the in person demand is high right now in most places! Using ChatGPT for SEO is a good idea! I wish I thought of that making the video lol

    Thank you, Jeff. I've been wondering about this with all the low-cost fitness apps coming out. I appreciate your take, which I find encouraging.

    I’ve used it a couple times for social media descriptions! It helps me create concise voice overs for my Instagram reels and so far info has been accurate!

    Hi Jeff, loving the content. Is there any chance you could do a video on personal training vs online coaching.
    Thanks

    We should be embracing technology not being afraid. Its very useful and can assist and take the extra work load off your back. When you can automate it for your work and planning sessions.
    Its inevitable you cant stop technology advancements.

    I used ChatGPT to write up a business plan! I asked for an outline & some additional info about the state of the market and then filled in the outline with my own content. It has worked great!

    I would love to use it for my yoga practice/teaching. So many people have specific back pain that I need a tool to specifically tell me the pose needed and for how long to hold or reps needed I think it can be very useful ! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

    You can’t read about push up, all the information on the fitness is out there for free today had been for years, what makes a personal trainer great is how he adapts that technique to you and your situation, there are thing that you can read about still take your a year to comprehend. What a personal trainers job is to cut that learning curve for you, he has already done the year for your and can fast forward your leaning curve. Alone in power lifting they are minor adjustments you can do that completely change your lift for the better

    Chat GPT has helped me with writing social media content & content for my website 😅

    I was playing around with chatGPT after finding out about it and used it to create a 4 week training program for one of my clients. The program was pretty good and my client loved it. The only thing I would say is that the volume for the program was a bit much, so I had to modify it.
    People are nervous that AI can affect their business negatively, but I think using chatGPT as a tool can really benefit trainers. Like you said, chatGPT doesn’t provide accountability.

    • @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
      @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation  Рік тому

      Ya I think it’s fine to use as tool! I
      Things definitely need to be modified, but it can be helpful. The accountability, at least for now, still can’t be replaced!

      Chat GPT is one form of AI. We're talking about Chat GPT like it's the only AI.
      With personal training apps that use AI and that can be with us 24 /7, I think the threat is potentially there. Wait for holograms that will put the PT anywhere.
      Chat GPT, as one form of AI, and PT apps may not provide accountability YET.

    All the 3 PT certs I received, they emphasize autonomy, change must come from with in . Outside accountability was always the wrong answer .

    • @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
      @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation  Рік тому

      Helping clients to improve their daily habits or autonomy is a big part of the job. Also, ya the change does need to come from within. If someone tries to make a change with low effort it won’t work. For a big change, they’ll have to really want it.
      All of that said, accountability is still the most powerful thing we offer to most clients.

    jeff my client has bruises on the working muscle after workout and it is not from overtrained muscle do you have any idea why is reason for this

    • @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
      @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation  Рік тому +1

      Honestly, I’m not sure why that’s happening. If it’s still happening, and you guys can’t figure out a reason why (maybe your client is bumping the equipment or something) then I would recommend the client sees a doctor

    The generation that grew up with the internet will be more likely to adopt an AI trainer. I can see it being preferable in the far future. Just imagine a bot on your Apple Watch that can talk to you while you hit your workouts and count each rep for you. Imagine having a ranking system on your progress with other users.
