Thanks for this very profesionaly done location video. I have been looking for the TCC solenoid for weeks. I am geting PO741 and PO746 the torque converter intermitently dis connects from the trany . The engine rpm goes up and the car slows down. Pull over shut down , restart and everything is OK. I will change TCCsolenoid. Will keep you informed .Thanks againDave
Great video. Thanks for showing the diagram and for the clear demonstrations of the actual part. This video probably took some time. Do you know what solenoids I should check if I’m getting the P0741 code?
Thank you. Where would the TCC solenoid be on the honda civic 06-11. I have the p0741 code and no mechanic wants to tell me where it is. They go straight to “Just rebuild it.”
@@DashCo52 on the civics its usually on the side that has your air box that holds your air filter. It should be on top of the transmission so you'll have to access it from above. And it should be underneath your thermostat housing and the thermostat housing should be underneath the air box
@@Baht-r6s first step would be to check the transmission fluid. If the fluid is ok then it's going to be related to the shift solenoid B. But right next to that is the TCC solenoid so I would just change that too. And also the shift solenoid A and C are also close by and easy to access. I would change all 4 while down there. But the only one you really need is the shift solenoid B. I have videos on my page for ALL solenoids
I’ve got a 2008 Pilot, AWD. Will drive fine, and then it seems like it goes into neutral. Turn off car, start back, and drive again. No codes, reset PCM and TCM both with no change, any suggestions where to start?
@@adamg554 usually that's a symptom of a bad TCC. Had that happen on my Impala. Will drive for a few blocks and then seems like it's slipping and won't go no matter how much you give it gas. Then as soon as you restart it you can drive about another few blocks before having to do it again. Torque converter clutch solenoid should be where you look first.
My acura tl 06 run good for 15 minute after I stop in a red light the car don’t run again but I turn off and back on it will run again I don’t have a check eng light on can you help me out please .? I send you a Zeller lol😅
