Leo ring pumps that bonus damage higher. • Less Endurance, More Health With no access to shields and bow's basically being free attacks, you aren't very reliant on stamina. Best thing to do is pump Vitality to 40, Strength to 27, and Dex to 40. After that just buy lots of arrows. • Wolf Ring Poise is powerful and can trivialize a lot of troublesome enemies like the dogs in the Capra Demon fight. Being able to poise tank one or two of their hits without flinching is not something to take lightly. Red Tearstone is nice, but Power Within does not play well with it. Consider Wolf as a nice alternative early on.

What I did for a bow focused playthrough (granted, this was with a friend for most of it) was go into red tearstone and grab leo ring from O&S, as Leo actually buffs arrows since it's considered a thrust type. It was wild what I was able to accomplish from the back with my friend running in as a paladin type build. I think my favorite moment of that build was actually in the depths, as I had the realization I could shoot the boss from outside on the rafters as my friend fought it within, it was really cool.

So several things that you could have done to make this easier on yourself. You can stagger lock Manus by shooting him in the eye. You can stagger Artorias out of his buff state by headshotting him (apparently regardless of the strength of the bow). Kalameet can be staggered by shooting him in the eye. Also, Compound Bow is much better than Darkmoon. It has an incredibly high rate of fire and damage per hit. With Nito you can trade the skull lantern to Snuggly for the Ring of Fog and get the slumbering dragoncrest ring. This will make it so no skeletons aggro to you if you stay away from them making Nito even easier. Iron Golem can be staggered by shooting his ankles with arrows so you made that fight harder on yourself. I enjoyed the video! Keep up the good work :)

Golly goodness, I love the FE music with DSR! Great content, well done and thanks :)
u deserve more subscribers, great video!
Let me just say when I first found your videos I was shocked to see you only had 4k subscribers, your editing for a small channel is immpeccible, and i can watch the whole video with ease, you don't take a mellenia to upload, and generally it is great content, Mark my words, you will get 100k subscribers, it is inevitable.
108k at the moment :)
Popping in to say that I'm really glad to see this channel jump from 200 some suns to 61k subs over the course of a year. Congrats!
> "In a surprisingly close battle"
> Full health and fifteen estus
7:48 this is why we have the rule of thumb:
You have em, you spend em!
I’m loving the fast, steady, growth on this channel it’s so great
All the songs in this video completely slap! You pulled out all the stops on the music on this one.
Interesting choice on archery only going for the moonlight bow and nice run. When I ran this challenge I went with the Composite Bow with large arrows for close up and Pharis Black Bow with feather arrow for sniping. I used poison arrows a bot to make life easier in some spots and also got the dragon slayer bow for fun. I really enjoyed the archer run a lot when I did it.
I'm so glad to see how far you've come my guy 😁 hard to believe you put in this much effort with 200 subs. Glad the hard work paid off.
Just found your channel, been on a binge of your videos! Love the music choice in all your vids and the great gameplay/knowledge that you've got! Can't wait to see you grow more
"We quickly use the black orb to take out TheLegend27"
*2016 flashbacks intensify*
These videos are really well edited lol. Love it my dude, keep it up
You are criminally underrated my man great video keep up the good work you have inspired me to try some of these runs
Now only in DS1 is my favorite challenge run that I frequently come back to, it always surprises me how strong the composite bow is
Just popped in recently, don't s'pose you'll read this but your content is very incredible! And its amazing how much you've grown in the span of a year, keep up the good content! :D
Congratulations on the crazy growth over the last year, nice
Surprised he didn't go for the composite bow early as it's just a better longbow
(great video btw)
WOW the fact that you were making such high quality content at such a small size is astounding. Keep up the hard work and praise the sun 👍
Soundtrack choices are already great but the Fallout-esque please stand by is absolutely brilliant.
Massive props for using Curse of Darkness music in this. Excellent game
Wait… you were making this quality of videos when you had 100 subscribers? Dude wtf, you deserve way more than what you have. I’d say you more than earned a sub from me 👌
Dude this is amazing, like you have no idea how much fun I'm having watching this video. Got surprised when u saw u didn't have 1m subs, keep doing what u do pal, cuz what u do it's rlly good. (Also, dunno if you done this before, but try a lighting only challenge, ofc u would still have to defeat the first boss with a regular weapon, since the lighting miracle is not available early on)
Just binged this whole series, was so shocked to hear you were only at 100 subs! Super quality and professional content, can't wait to see your channel grow
From the second I heard the F.E music I knew this would be a good video. Subbing. Gonna go enjoy your content. You can't stop me
17:48 I've spent the last hour and a half trying to remember the name of this song and what it's from. And as a thank you for your great content here's another sub!
Wow, just wow. I've been working on a bow-only Dark Souls 3 run, and while it was fun for a while (got all the way to Dancer before giving up), I can't imagine doing it in Dark Souls 1. Mad props, and cheers to the next one!!
Music nice, cuts nice, challenge nice, explaning nice. Idk man, this video deserves more attention.
Okey just gotta say, you have great taste in music my man. Just found your channels and love your vids so far! Just earned a new sub, keeo up the good work!
Like the vids bro! Your voice is perfect for this kind of voiceover work!
So happy to see such awesome channel growth
