Great video. I climbed up to Plat III and then hit a 7 game losing streak and went down to Gold II! Currently back to Gold I and this video pointed out exactly what I saw. Ppl constantly getting beat and changing characters.
I main rocket and loki and you explained my thought process on heavy dive really well I usually lock loki into heavy dive because his lshift counters divers and he can get away pretty quickly worst case scenario Rocket is pretty bad into most divers because outside his mobility he really doesn't have any self peel, i usually pick him into most high range comps and moonknight players
I really like Rocket, but sometimes if I notice the other healer is lacking, I'm the only healer, or sometimes we just need more healing, he doesn't make the cut for the match. 😔
If you can switch to a tank role, or one of your other backlines is willing, Peni is wonderful for this. Throw the mine layer in the back lines, if it's not a tank diving you then they'll insta die. Easy win. Other tips. Wolverine, he does low damage combined with doing % of enemy's max health. As his fury builds, you'll get up to double damage I think. Scarlet Witch also does % max hp, no fury. If you know they're going for you specifically, Scarlet Witch can throw her stun bubble at her feet and usually guarantees 2 procs. You can melt most enemies in that time if they're solo. Healers, a good cloak and dagger is absurd. Save your heal bubble, throw it down when they dive. Swap to Cloak, hit them with the debuff to increase damage they take, now melt them. If necessary, use cloak's invincibility to dodge an attack or two. Rocket, as mentioned, is awesome too. The dash can be helpful, but his biggest advantages are his wall run and his size, making it very difficult to hit him when he retreats. Would recommend you go into his options and disable the auto reload, and remember to throw his auto B.R.B. or w/e nearby for your allies. My last go to is Loki. His ult can turn the tide of any battle if you're comfortable with other characters. His healing circles will make anyone in it, nearly invincible to anything that doesn't one shot. Combine with decoys and stealth, his survivability and damage both are incredible.
It's huge to be able to take a breath, ask what the problem is and how to solve it, and then make a decision. And not only switch characters, but maybe switch roles. I often play dps, but I'll flex to tank or healer if that's what we need to overcome. Sometimes just having a second tank makes a huge difference.
This is why I learned Namor and Mantis. Namor is practically undiveable since he can drop both or all three turrets in case someone tries to dive him or his strategists.
One good thing is the other strategists have good escapability: Mantis sleep, Luna Freeze, Rocket dashes and wall climb, Loki clone swap, Cloak and Dagger Dark Transportation, and Jeff swim. I don't play Adam Warlock he's considered the worst strategist (and still pretty good) so I don't know how he escapes.
I play luna a lot. But I find it very difficult to land the freeze attack. I am on PS as well though. But it's still annoying. Wish she had auto aim like cloak and dagger
Realistically if the one diving you is actually good then really only Mantis and Luna have a real good chance at escaping. Jeff can swim sure, but for most diving characters (especially Iron Fist) that just doesn't matter. Cloak and Dagger are safe for a while but then if no one comes to help you they just reset and kill you anyway.
Yes and no with C/D I switch to Cloak and than cloak to get away than switch to Dagger pop the bubble heal up and re engage works pretty well. Especially if you are dealing with multiple people chasing you. The problem I had with Mantis or Luna wasn't the single dive coming at me it's when there were 2 I would never survive. C/D gives me more utility but Mantis and Luna are better for sure overall. Side note I love that C/D can save themselves or their teammates from multiple ults without relying on their own ult.
I'm a Luna main and there's been so many times ive had to 1v1 a Spider-Man or a Psylocke, though sometimes it's my lack of skill lol But yeah, like he says, once you know one character well enough...start learning a second or third that you can switch to when the scenario demands it. Not the whole roster, but at least one backup character you can swap to mid-game to help resolve that pesky problem. Another thing that (sometimes) helps is to remember the ping system, so that maybe one of your teammates will be alerted to you being dove and comes to help
This is one of those tips that was so obvious but u wont notice it until you're actually being told it "How did i fight this hero thats very annoying and keep fucking us up?" Just pick the counter to it
Yea, that is a skill that'll never be perfect. We're only human and we're always going to miss stuff. I love that it's something you could always improve though.🙌
I main Cloak and Dagger and my strat when getting dove is just to blind, cloak and move forward towards one of my DPS or Tanks. More often than not they don’t chase, but if they do, then they in the middle of the fight (where they don’t want to be).
I love this, I love the strategic intellect used here. I love the intellectual KNOWLEDGE based approach, that never once mentions mechanical skill. It's very refreshing to have a game like that. Unfortunately it's also demoralizing, because I would love to try these tactics. My aim is just so sub par, that it's almost impossible to play any other characters but the melee ones, my fav being Cap.
You don't need good aim, just need decent aim. I noticed a lot of players who claim their aim is poor aren't actually poor. They miss shots (especially projectile-based ones) because they are shooting too much. There are slits of time between each attack. If your first attack is already off, the following will be off as well. You want to do your best to land the *first* shot and the subsequent ones usually land. When you panic or get stressed, ofc your aim will also slip. Try to find a range you're comfortable at and only fight enemies when you're comfortable. Once you improve there, you'll notice your aim drastically improves. I plan to make some aiming exercises or something in the future, so that could help as well. Good luck, you got this!💪
@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 thanks man, I will definitely try to keep that in mind. Take better shots, not more shots, as well as shots in the range you are most comfortable. I will see how that works out for me, and maybe I'll be able to expand beyond the melee heroes. This definitely gives me some encouragement. Do you have any basic sensitivity or settings tips that may be useful for controller? Like do I want high sensitivity, should I change my deadzone from default, any specific horizontal/vertical sensitives rule of thumb? I am honestly lost as to what sensitives are better for projectile based shooters. Maybe there is no such tips, and it's just personal preference, but if there is, I think a LOT of people would love a video on that. I'll definitely subscribe just for that. Thanks man 😁
@Jordblitz Not a problem, glad I could help. I have a video going over how I found mine and how to adjust, maybe it can help you out. ua-cam.com/video/IL_iwKtQptg/v-deo.html
I like to play an assassin character like wolverine or iron fist then the next round they huddle up to defend each other and I go moon Knight and shred them. Works well to switch things up between rounds as it keeps the opponents unsure of how to handle your team.
I played one match where one Namor player begged me to play Luna Snow so they could get the team-up instead of my preference of Rocket. We kept losing, and I tried changing to Rocket but the Namor player begged me to swap back. I acquiesced. Didn’t even see the Namor player as he kept away from the actual group. We lost. He got SVP. I learnt never to go after a certain team-up if you know in your heart of hearts you’ll get a better result with a different character. And I often go Rocket on convoy games because of the mobility of the character and the mobility of his heals. Might not have the highest heal rate but he can do it around corners and up platforms. And he buffs.
@ Yeah. “Team-up skills won’t necessarily win you games.” is something a lot of players need to learn. My best games had no synergies whatsoever, just good teamwork with players comfortable with their kits.
Thiiiiiiiiis!!! It would be so different if the team moved as a UNIT. Instead, you have the 3-4 DPS “tRyInG tO fLaNk” and getting 1 v 2-3(with a healer) or Support teammates going straight DPS priority for the SVP(looking HARD at you Mantis/Cloak&Dagger DPS players) Once they take out 1-2 players that way, it’s 10seconds respawn hell PLUS walk time to regroup, by then the team of 5-6 are wailing on the 3 players left actually trying together
Whoooa, a Warlock main? Cool, he's carried me to plat 1 so far. Shocked, I don't see more of him. He's great. Basically has an ult on a 30-second cooldown
Came here after loosing a match hard! The problem was i played mantis, venom and magik were diving me and i managed to sleep them each time but got no peeling from the team at all so kept dying.
Amazing vid im so glad i found your chanel btw sometimes its better tonplay a charachter what you can play than just trying to do somthing with only dyimg
Nothing scarier than seeing the iron fist walk up to you past your team and proceed to fist you to death. Then team asks for heals and let him walk out alive 😢
As a C&D main I DARE those mofos to dive on me. As soon as I notice someone eyeing me I get ready with my bubble heal/Dagger switch/ dagger wall combo. I've won fights against several divers at once.
That's a great analysis. How to deal with getting dove? Don't be a character that can't deal with being dove. Use all the tools you have at your disposal, which includes changing your character or playstyle according to the game.
Great video! Really inspired me to think more strategically. I main C & D but sometimes the teleportation is just not enough get away from Iron Fist or help others. So I played Luna, but those ice ball are tricky to land. Guess it’s time to learn Mantis. One question for the Iron Fist though, what can he do in that situation? Or what strategy change they need as a team? I can think of switching to Iron man so he can still get the healers without getting stuns.
The Iron fist could have waited before he went in and timed things differently. He also could have switched to anything that wasn't so dive heavy or even something with headshots. The player himself has things to work on, it's not just a pick thing. In every game some players climb off luck (then eventually go back down) or just use something that is really hard to deal with until they climb to a rank that can. Once that happens you'll notice you'll find a lot of players who you're thinking to yourself "how are you in this rank?". It's not a *bad* thing, but him needing to work on himself became apparent after the first few times.
It's fun playing rivals because in half the matches i feel like the only player with a brain The only one taking flank routes, targetting seperated players, targetting supports, observing the issue and fixing it etc But just like fortnite and overwatch i know soon that rivals players will soon be pretty aware and skilled on average
Would really like a video going over when is it appropriate to switch. Sometimes i want to switch but i have my ult, so I'm looking for an opportunity to use it before i can switch but then i never do lol
I main Jeff and Rocket b/c I really like wall climb when I'm being dove. Rocket can shoot up a wall and then spam heals as he's floating down, and Jeff is Jeff. :)
Go into your settings and change Rocket's wall movement from Advance Vertically to Follow Cursor; now he can run all over the wall instead of just straight up
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 For sure; a lot of people overlook the fact that there are hero-specific settings that can have a huge impact on how you play.
You know, i recently started switching characters like this. I havent played many competitive games but i like the art style and wanted to check this game out. At first i was upset that i had to change characters from who i wanted to play for fun but i ended up finding characters i like playing as and i have been winning and ive gotten mvp in the last 8 or so games i played!
I actually really, really love Storm. That's such a unique design of support while still a dps. It was very well done and the character was done well too. One thing I notice is a lot of Storm players I've run into don't use cover. They hover in the air and try to move around but she is very slow if you don't use the wind buff. My advice, (generally speaking) is to use cover more often if you don't already. I don't mean low cover, but high cover. There are a LOT of tall structures in the game for flyers.
Look for opportunities to switch to your speed aura; any time your team is pushing up together, backing up, or enemies are using ultimates, you can help keep your team safe by letting them get out of bad positions faster, leading to less lost teamfights.
People not being able to chsnge tactic to suit the game is a bigger issue imo than role queue/role lock. Having three dps that all play a role is better than two DPS who dont work with your team comp imo.
Can't count the amount of times I have been killed by (or watched my teammates get killed by WHILE trying to peel) a Spiderman or Black Panther because no one can pin them down whilst they have 950000% mobility and dart from one side of the moon to the other in a split second. I hate those two characters with a passion. Half of my games are as Rocket or Jeff being chased by 2 people 24/7 while being unable to heal my team, and despite the result being a 5v4, we still end up losing. It's just sad.
I'm a mantis main BECAUSE no one peels for me. Poor dps divers are practically free kills but it still keeps me from supporting my team, which I want to do.
Got about 4 hours of ranked play and just hit Gold. The biggest way to carry is to call shots for the team imo, especially if you play tank, which I main. If you can hwlp them position and call peel for people or xall targets it helps people rurn their brains off and get out of their own way, in a sense.
My problem when playing Supports is more so what to do when multiple enemies dive you constantly as a solo queue support. I can stun one and kill them, but if Thor +'s the fight as well as their dive dps, I'm cooked unless the other support makes a great play to save me or I get peels from the other four allies. I'm trying to get better with my pings.
What do you think of the tactic of controlling firing lanes by constantly pouring damage down them? When I know the path the enemy is going to use I force them to wade into continuous fire. Toss in a right click every so often to boost the damage. Im usu the healer trying to contribute more than just my heals. Or im a ranged tank. As a solo we rarely get to be the dps guys if we want to help the team...
I think it's an ok idea if you don't need to reload, however, if your character has a reload I think it's best to wait for when you see someone or do little spurts then reload much earlier into the clip. That's a tactic that works in other games like call of duty, halo, gears of war, etc. However, healing and shielding is so strong and frequent in the game, it doesn't really offer much of an advantage. I like how you think though 😉
awesome vid man! love the talk about gameplay and game concepts as opposed to "HOW TO PLAY X - BROKEN CHARACTER!!!". i got a qxn tho, would you say psylocke is a good character to one trick?
I'm glad it helps! Yes, I think any character is good to one trick to be honest. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, but psyloche is a really good carry imo.
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 my main was tracer in ow, psylocke seems similar with a little more burst, do you think there's anyone more similar to tracer than psylocke? thanks!
Wow I was all set to come in here and give you crap about making an entire video that basically boils down to "pick a character with crowd control" but looking at the comments apparently that was advice people hadn't considered so.. well done I guess. Honestly though if you can get any cooperation from your team, the easiest solution is to have one of the tanks to switch to Peni and place her nest near the supports so you can stand in the mines which really helps deter and punish melee flankers without having to have someone come back and peel for you which is putting more pressure on your front line sending 2 or 3 people to deal with 1 flanker which leaves everybody else outnumbered.
I main psy bp bucky strange ....when I need an anti dive I usually take bucky or psy and when theres more grouped up map with less mobile enemies I take bp So is it sometimes very necessary to switch characters to do a job that my teammates are sucking at or am I just carrying less effectively? Im winning more soloq but when I play duo trio with my friends I lose a bit more ....is it my fault for not carrying enough ...like am i playing bad or is it that in solo im getting lucky? both cases I get svps more
To the first point, you can't really cover up your team's mistakes. The only thing you can do is make playing the game easier for them. As an example, I'll play Strange if I notice my backline is getting sniped by Hawk/Hela. Yes, they should know how to take corners properly and not peek, but they may not have the skill yet. (just generic example) Playing with friends I assume makes games more difficult. Most games that have matchmaking try their best not to pair squads with solo players. Obviously, for a game like this,s it's difficult but I'm sure it's very frequent in terms of high number stacks. This means when you play with others, you're going against other stacks. At this point it's not about individual play...more so team play (depending on how their stack plays).
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 thanks so much for replying...I constantly want to know about what mistakes im doing and how to do better next time so I love the response
General answer, stub them. In depth answer: Spiderman, close quarters he doesn't like. He wants to get in and get out, if the space is very small he can't do it that well and will be trapped. Magik, when she teleports she can't change directions. If she teleports to you run past her, she will teleport again run past her again and she will be out for a while. Both cases, try running back into your team. I have a how to climb as support video and I discuss a bit more about dealing with that. More to come soon as well.
I don't struggle in 1v1 as support I struggle with getting double dove on repeat with no peel how do I handle double divers like I mean at the same time no chill between
If you find yourself in that situation, that often means the positioning could improve. Realistically, you're not supposed to be hard to get to. Once they are there, the last ditch resort is what I explained in the video. Once they are on you, they are designed to not be taken off so easily. That's why it's up to us to be hard to get to in the first place.
@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 I'm not solely blaming team or anything I wish to win the 1v2 in general but it happens in one of two ways on average always in same match I'll be around corner so I can see team to heal team without being shot by enemy team then get magik plus panthered I cc one and focus other while moving to team and die then I get double dove again on way back
my team is still alive since they were only dealing with 4 people and divers blew whole kit on me is my thought process wrong on my positioning here should I just be up on my team at all times in these situations
and I wouldn't say it's often more like 1 in 40 matches but it's a situation when it occurs I have a hard time dealing with it never happens in ranked but id like to not be the reason we lose if it does
A lot of the times when you're dove, if you're able to run into your team that's the best bet. I'd also take a look at the replay and just see how I died. Was it avoidable? If not, sometimes it's best to swap to another healer. There are games where they have 2-3 dive characters and there is no way I'm surviving with Warlock, so I'll swap to Rocket. Yes, it might not be who I want to play but it's only for one match. The goal is to make the game less stressful for your team. If I swap to Rocket, not only do they waste time chasing but my team also doesn't need to worry about peeling me.
Games like these are about playing your part, you do it better than everyone else, you climb. Might not be a super fast climb for most, but that's pretty much a simple way to sum it up.
Sorry, should have explained in the video. I couldn't think of anything else it's called tbh. 👀 I'll know for future content if I use weird words to describe something.
as a non competitive videogames player understanding this video has earned me a few extra wins, turned out it is op swapping from cap to peni or from widow to hela when things get bad because of one guy that knows how to do one thing very well following his advice, those roots are op, specially when someone gives you a reason to use them, that can resolve an entire match, hope he does more rivals content, this is the first game of this kind that I actually enjoy and find myself wining each other round and coming back to
Iron fist is cool up to gold then most people hard diff him running mantis rocket or Luna snow the best supporters in the game mobile decent damage and 2/3 have a stun idk anyone running Adam unless they ban Luna and mantis but also there’s a discord so you don’t have to play solo tbh solo Que IS NOT MEANT FOR A GAME WITH 10 random players if you do play solo the highest realistic rank is gold
Playing to counter/adapt to the enemy strategy. Also, ping the enemy in the back line. In all the chaos is hard to know whats happening behind u, sometimes. 😅
Sorry, but you lost me as soon as you started talking about swapping characters. My personal preference is to lose in exchange of playing a character that I want to play at the moment. I defy the need to swap, no matter how tough it gets.
Great video but you wrong about playing solo. You cant just switch to a different character just to stop a peel if your team is full of morons who dont pick healers or tanks but all want to be DPS.
The game is very unbalanced. Not the characters but as players. Way too many players think they know how to play when they really don't. Unfortunately, you are stuck in matches with these players, and you get wiped because of it. So many matches are just frustrating because of the lack of communication and skill. Love the game, but I hate playing with those who don't understand the basic gameplay or how to create a well-balanced team to win a match.
It's amazing how dumb some people are when overwatch dropped in 2016. The characters are new but what is required strategically is incredibly similar. New people are one thing but some folks are literally worse than bots......
What does peeling and diving mean?
Diving is pretty much like it sounds. Getting to the backline of the team.
Peeling is opposite, it's getting the diver off the back line.

It's huge to be able to take a breath, ask what the problem is and how to solve it, and then make a decision. And not only switch characters, but maybe switch roles. I often play dps, but I'll flex to tank or healer if that's what we need to overcome. Sometimes just having a second tank makes a huge difference.
What a crazily underated vid. Really great informative vid man thanks.
Thank you, glad it helped. More to come soon! 🙌
Thanks for the advice. Love the presentation and professional approach. Your coaching mindset is fantastic. Keep it coming Lofton!
I really appreciate that. 🙏
Great video. Best use of the replay system I've seen so far. Thanks
This is an awesome vid, I was struggling getting dived with Warlock so this was perfect lol. Thank you!
A tutorial on When to dive as a frontline would be appreciated 🙏
Adam is actually one of the best healers but yeah no escape, so you need peel, he as one of the best win rate after gold
And Luna Jeff and dagger bottom
“We chain that CC…he’s trying to do tricks and be fantastic, that boy’s lit up and he’s done”. Amazing quote, start my day off right!
😂
I'm a Luna main and there's been so many times ive had to 1v1 a Spider-Man or a Psylocke, though sometimes it's my lack of skill lol
But yeah, like he says, once you know one character well enough...start learning a second or third that you can switch to when the scenario demands it. Not the whole roster, but at least one backup character you can swap to mid-game to help resolve that pesky problem. Another thing that (sometimes) helps is to remember the ping system, so that maybe one of your teammates will be alerted to you being dove and comes to help
This is one of those tips that was so obvious but u wont notice it until you're actually being told it
"How did i fight this hero thats very annoying and keep fucking us up?"
Just pick the counter to it
Great stuff, I'm new to this kind of game but absolutely loving all of it so far. Learning to track my tm8s better
Yea, that is a skill that'll never be perfect. We're only human and we're always going to miss stuff. I love that it's something you could always improve though.🙌
Me too… I casually played SMITE
@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 thanks! I'll definitely take a look
Great advice! I'm not a very good player, so I'm not sure I can make use of your advice, but it's much better than the solutions I hear others offer.
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words. 🙏 Dw, you got this!
I like to play an assassin character like wolverine or iron fist then the next round they huddle up to defend each other and I go moon Knight and shred them. Works well to switch things up between rounds as it keeps the opponents unsure of how to handle your team.
Thanks for the tips poppin!
Not to mention Punisher's shotgun is great at dispatching divers.
That is actually something I plan to mention in an upcoming video, you're already ahead of the game!
@ Yeah. “Team-up skills won’t necessarily win you games.” is something a lot of players need to learn. My best games had no synergies whatsoever, just good teamwork with players comfortable with their kits.
Thiiiiiiiiis!!! It would be so different if the team moved as a UNIT. Instead, you have the 3-4 DPS “tRyInG tO fLaNk” and getting 1 v 2-3(with a healer) or Support teammates going straight DPS priority for the SVP(looking HARD at you Mantis/Cloak&Dagger DPS players)
Once they take out 1-2 players that way, it’s 10seconds respawn hell PLUS walk time to regroup, by then the team of 5-6 are wailing on the 3 players left actually trying together
LMAO. That's actual fact, that character is too much luck.
It's fun playing rivals because in half the matches i feel like the only player with a brain
The only one taking flank routes, targetting seperated players, targetting supports, observing the issue and fixing it etc
But just like fortnite and overwatch i know soon that rivals players will soon be pretty aware and skilled on average
This is why i play Loki, repositioning is vital.
Would really like a video going over when is it appropriate to switch. Sometimes i want to switch but i have my ult, so I'm looking for an opportunity to use it before i can switch but then i never do lol
Usually, I just stick with it and fire it off. However, if I REALLY need to switch, I will bite the bullet and do it.
I main Jeff and Rocket b/c I really like wall climb when I'm being dove. Rocket can shoot up a wall and then spam heals as he's floating down, and Jeff is Jeff. :)
Go into your settings and change Rocket's wall movement from Advance Vertically to Follow Cursor; now he can run all over the wall instead of just straight up
Controller it'll be a different word, I think it's reticle. 🤔 It's also good for all wall type characters (give or take) not just him! 🙌
Oh nice! That's really good to hear. Yea, once you get used to it it's very helpful. 🙌
Great guide, will be trying this out
Thank you for the tips. I adore storm as a character. Do you perhaps have any tips on her?
Mantis, always keep yourself on damage boost and sleep em, hit criticals. Thats literally the best way, until teammates become competent.
People not being able to chsnge tactic to suit the game is a bigger issue imo than role queue/role lock. Having three dps that all play a role is better than two DPS who dont work with your team comp imo.
I appreciate your tips. Def subscribed.
I think it’s good to be viable characters in these lower lobbies. Learning how to escape/survive is a skill
And then you miss your sleep or an ally shoots them immediately and you hop around like an idiot hoping they miss you.
LMAO! That was a good one. 😂
LMAOOO, I feel that.
Between getting no peels and Hawkeye I hate this game
Thx for the video it helped a lot
I'm keeping my eye on this channel.
Great video, thank you a lot for the tips. Necessary
That seems more like a positioning issue, try to play a bit safer and around angles rather than just in plain view.
@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 my main was tracer in ow, psylocke seems similar with a little more burst, do you think there's anyone more similar to tracer than psylocke? thanks!
Starlord gun wise. Revise time wise anyone with magik as a team up.
as a C&D main in diamond, i dare any spidie or psylocke to 1v1 me backline cause 99% of times its a free kill for me
Critical thinking skills. Sadly alot of players lack
I either go Full DPS or go Full Heals 😅 if you have the 3 characters shown against IF you gonna win the game 😅
I main psy bp bucky strange ....when I need an anti dive I usually take bucky or psy and when theres more grouped up map with less mobile enemies I take bp
So is it sometimes very necessary to switch characters to do a job that my teammates are sucking at or am I just carrying less effectively?
Im winning more soloq but when I play duo trio with my friends I lose a bit more ....is it my fault for not carrying enough ...like am i playing bad or is it that in solo im getting lucky?
both cases I get svps more
To the first point, you can't really cover up your team's mistakes. The only thing you can do is make playing the game easier for them. As an example, I'll play Strange if I notice my backline is getting sniped by Hawk/Hela. Yes, they should know how to take corners properly and not peek, but they may not have the skill yet. (just generic example)
Playing with friends I assume makes games more difficult.
What can we do against magik and spidey
General answer, stub them.
In depth answer:
Spiderman, close quarters he doesn't like.
Scarlet melts iron fist and so does c&d easy fix
my aim is pretty bad should I play mantis or luna?
If you'd rather play than practice and get better with aiming naturally, Mantis is the better choice.
I like using cloak and daggers blindness on then and chipping from out of view
How the hell do players make it so high in ranked without communication or not know how to get out of the situation
Games like these are about playing your part, you do it better than everyone else, you climb.
Might not be a super fast climb for most, but that's pretty much a simple way to sum it up.
what is a peel?
Peel is protecting your teammate from getting attacked.
Had to look up "peel", lol.
Sorry, should have explained in the video. I couldn't think of anything else it's called tbh. 👀
I'll know for future content if I use weird words to describe something.
as a non competitive videogames player understanding this video has earned me a few extra wins, turned out it is op swapping from cap to peni or from widow to hela when things get bad because of one guy that knows how to do one thing very well following his advice, those roots are op, specially when someone gives you a reason to use them, that can resolve an entire match, hope he does more rivals content, this is the first game of this kind that I actually enjoy and find myself wining each other round and coming back to
Oh don't worry, there will be more on the way!
These noobs don't protect supports. They just watch you. They stare ... and do nothing GG.
You can top rank with solo, also there are 12 players not 10. 👀
"no one cares about me" 😢
May God bless the world.
Long story short
Counter
lol saved you 7 minutes
Playing to counter/adapt to the enemy strategy.
Also, ping the enemy in the back line. In all the chaos is hard to know whats happening behind u, sometimes. 😅
Sorry, but you lost me as soon as you started talking about swapping characters. My personal preference is to lose in exchange of playing a character that I want to play at the moment. I defy the need to swap, no matter how tough it gets.
Great video but you wrong about playing solo. You cant just switch to a different character just to stop a peel if your team is full of morons who dont pick healers or tanks but all want to be DPS.
I only play solo, all my guides will be from a solo player no mic perspective. Also, thank you. 🙌
Wtf Is peel
Pinned comment
The game is very unbalanced. Not the characters but as players. Way too many players think they know how to play when they really don't. Unfortunately, you are stuck in matches with these players, and you get wiped because of it. So many matches are just frustrating because of the lack of communication and skill. Love the game, but I hate playing with those who don't understand the basic gameplay or how to create a well-balanced team to win a match.
It's amazing how dumb some people are when overwatch dropped in 2016. The characters are new but what is required strategically is incredibly similar. New people are one thing but some folks are literally worse than bots......
