Dead at an extremely early age, or they do an album or two and quit, leaving us with just their warm up efforts and that's it.
Just frustrating. This is one of my favorite songs ever, and it was their second album, third technically. And not even that, this was the only song he was able to record before dying. Like, shit I can't even imagine if they got through 5-6 albums.

Also he recorded another song called "Choose What?" that was released with the "Alive!" album and was used for Serj Tankians contribution "Starlit Eyes" for the "Strait Up" record.

Still get goose bumps every time I listen to this song. Lynn's vocals were incredible. One of very few singers that would take the general melody of a song and sing a different melody over the top of that melody. His vocals never followed the rhythm of the guitar. This is why he was so good at what he did. Truly one of kind. Gone way to soon.

can't describe how much i want Lynn to be alive. Just discovered this band half a year ago. The Get Some album has been playing DAILY since. Such a masterpiece from start to finish!

Just saw these guys live today. This was their ending song. The whole show was great. Carl Bensley really nailed the vocals. I think Lynn would be proud.

This was one of my favorite albums growing up. Lynn's loss was one of the biggest tragedies for the music industry in the past 20 years. Yes even more than Cobain- at least he was able to do more than one album.

If my memory serves me correct this was one of the closing tracks on this album. You got all these legends on this album and then Lynn and Co. just clown this shit out of everybody. The best.

Iirc most of the songs on strait up were snot songs in progress whereby they just got guest vocalists to fill in (& changed some parts presumably) (the notable exception being sevendust's 'Angels son' )

Dude I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this songs some what creepy, it's as if he knew he was about to die and his last song is Absent...this song shows how more technical and badass snot would've been if they was still around,...I love the first album, but if they could've released a second album and more, man just think of the badassness that would have came from em, and this songs only a glimpse at what COULD have come 😢😢😢
