this album is a masterpiece ...
Yes! 👍👍👍
It's very underrated
unfortunately, most people have never heard this amazing band
Masterpiece??? I'd sure hate to hear what you call shitty!!
completely agree 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
This man was too powerful for this world. God heard this and immediately needed him up there.
He kinda sucked live
Fucking right
Snot will always be my favorite! Had tickets to see them and he died the week before 😭😭
20 years later, still chillin with these guys. Long live the 90s
Rez they help wake us up
Rez, man...
Still..
Still chillin 4eva 👌
I found these guys out through Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock as a early teen. I'm now a 23 year old man sitting through the whole album... and none of it misses. Long live rock, punk, metal.
I HAVE BEEN JAMMIN' TO THIS SHIT FOR LIKE 12 YRS.
20 years now!
Fart
band unknown to many, strong melodies and what a voice Lynn had! a pity that we lost that incredible sound so soon, but at least this masterpiece will remain here : )
I cant stop staring at that dog
Such a Underrated band its not even funny, more people need to know Snot!
Only a half a million views! Snot was a Amazingly talented band! Lynn was definitely snubbed out way to soon in life! Rip Lynn and Dobbs
will forever miss this... god damn what a fucking band..
By reading these comments I can see that some people do understand what these guys were about to do to the music scene. SHARON Ozbourne Loved this guy. Korn ranover their 5 year mrk that if u chk the record is usually your SOUL for a 10 year 5 record deal. Had Lynn not been killed my friends, before rock and roll and the music bsiness finally lost its luster, SNOT was the shooting star that lit the sky as darkness fell upon ROCK AND ROLL. The 90's were fucking RAW people, CAN YOU HEAR ME...LOL.
Lynn sings kinda like Phil Anselmo on this song......Lynn and Dime should form an insane band in heaven...that's just my opinion
Dope man! I always think the same thing, Lynn is an absolutely insane vocalist. Anselmo vibes for sure!!! Who still listening this priceless joy in 2022?
🙏🏻
@@geera.dasilva Lynn may be dead but he will never be forgotten 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Ja! Send in thw clowns... Or better yet Olde Yeller
Beat super group of all time
They were both California natives
Heard this song out of the blue, one of the raddest songs to come across by chance 🤘🏼.
Lynn straight was a ladys man by far without even trying his music just made him even more so with that said rip we lost one of the best front man before his time....my hats off 2 Lynn and his kid dog.....
Ya man you was the hardest montherfucker out thear love you bor
...when you go old...97-21...hour to day...month to year...his music and lyrics was so strong and understanding...for years...peace
Best record from the 90's.
2024 🤘🤘🤘
You thought we forgot about you lyn ?!
Im 19 and listening to Snot for at least 2 or 3 years now, Fucking love it!
Wow! 27 now, u still listen to snot?
@@nonsilentartichoke4210 occasionally haha
I’m 18 and my dad introduced me to the band when I was a kid and I fucking love these guys! Listen to them almost everyday no joke.
21 here!
Yesterday
When I was just a boy
In times of youthful hero worship
My kind have been molded by images on the screen
Brought up to emulate the big
Guns
Just another guest on death's best show
The influence cuts deeper than mom knows
Electric waves
The demon's fly
Now could we just be
Bred to kill or DIE
There must be something else
The blame I place on myself
Behind the tired eyes
The tears go uncried
In the Box
Doin' time
In the Box
Just like doin' time
In the Box
Doin' time
In the Box
Now that I'm grown
Abandoned childhood toys
But still what danger
Have I retained
To grab the brass ring
To go in for the kill
And covet the good you know 'dem got for
MURDER
It's just another guest on death's best show
The influence cuts deeper than mom knows
Electric waves
The demon's fly
Now could we just be
Bred to kill or DIE
There got to be something else
The blame I place on myself
Behind tired eyes
The demon's stir
The tears go uncried
In the Box
Doin' time

Just like doin' time

THIS GUY HAS A UNIQUE SCREAM I LOVE IT
this album has been the theme songs for me since back in da days!!!
this music always gets me pumped for a surf
🤙🤙🤙
long live to Snot, Lynn and Dobbs, wherever they are 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Spent many nights blasting this in the barracks in Carson with the bros back in 2000-2001. Good times and good tunes.
thanks for sharing. i was a baby during that time, so im interested in learning about all anecdotes from the early 2000s!
i grew up in DFW.. Pantera was my main hometown pride..toadies were pretty cool too... i remember the first time i heard SNOT , at a street race october 1997. ... i was like wow ..that dude is gonna change music...for the record .. as much as i like PHIL as a vocalist , LYNN was a BEAST...unmatched... if u have ever seen him , or heard him live u know what i mean.. he was unnatural.. he was, IMO , the DIMEBAG of heavy music vocals...and fuck how u feel about it
Waylon Kaufman Texas pride! I got to see Pantera's last live show in Arlington it was amazing! Didn't know it would be the last..
I named my first dog Dobbs but he was killed as well 😭
Waylon Kaufman I feel the same way man. He was so unique as a singer. And Dime was my idol. Im from fort worth Texas. I never got to see Snot.
Lynn was a straight up metal athlete
Grew up in Dallas too! Pantera forever... Snot, crazy crazy dope... RIP Lynn, RIP Dimebag, RIP Vinny,
RIP Clubhouse
dope as fuck. I met Lynn an gave him an ox of kill bud when they played there first tour with seven-day in Chicago at Thurston's.
Michael Woodward nice
THIS SONG IS LIKE A DRUG FOR ME
Anyone who met Lynn knew at once that he was the genuine article....a true S.B. Kid who was a born metal monster. To see them live was savage, The band just "strait" ripped it and with Mr Strait up front... they always F*CKED SH*T UP!!
best song by them
Nope, snooze button
+5.56 Only its in my opinion
Yep
Snot is the best song imo
GET SOME
MY FAVORITE ALBUM!!! Saw them on the side stage at a 311 show in 97...Lynn totally hit on my then gf. So proud!!
Oh my! What a supercool story hahaha!!!!
I dream to be a 90s teen, that time was so special, unique vibe
I saw Snot, incubus, soulfly and Linkin Park all on one stage in a warehouse in the strip district in Pittsburgh. One of the greatest 90s shows I ever witnessed. Damn I miss the 90s!
@@DavidHinkin slay!
Lynns lyrics were meant to destroy the industry
This song becomes more relevant as time goes by
Thanks for posting! This song is fucking great, this whole ALBUM is fucking great. R.I.P. Lynn Straight, fucking shame, Snot would have gone far...
music to my ears
RIP Lynn Strait (August 7, 1968 - December 11, 1998), aged 30
You will be remembered as a legend.
my favorite snot tune...
the were famous everywhere....just not mainstream. I'm from the n. ga mtns and they even had a faithful following there. Lynn was the man and he will be forever missed, but i caught their show in atl. a couple years ago with their new singer and the kid is a force of nature. check them out...you wont regret it. he makes it a point to let everyone know that he's not trying to fill lynn's shoes, he grew up a fan just like the rest of us.
Right On Man, RIP Dime and Lynn \m/
yet the song are freaking addictive to hear
Still a great album!
I just get reminded of this song. It's so good :)
fukkin snot is sick as hell!!! i fukin love the drummer for this band and especially the drums on this song.
this song is like rock and roll!
A favourite of mine, for sure!
The best.
For all you talking about posers and Snot being famous for the lead singer dying...I had NO IDEA he died!....I just happened to get this and "snot" on my mp3 from internetradio a few years back...and liked it. Either u like it or u don't i guess.
Good ole' HEAVY METAAAAAAAAAHHLLL🎸🎙
This song man.
They are famous.. forever... period... fuck what you think !!!
What a killer groove
I miss this band
dat ending
Recorded in 1997, Discovery in 2017 (-_-")
Same here.
at least you discovered it I was two years late I bought this CD in 2000
I bought this album in 1999 or 2000 after he passed away and I heard the "Strait Up" album that was in his memory.
Snoth.asta.la.muerte.saludos.desde.panama.viva.el.rock.nunca.morira.prevalesera.asta.el.fin.
This band is soo sick
Man I had to interrupt THE BOX to give a shout to my homeboy MR.STRAIGHT good man an a pimpass singer.
Just Nice!
awesome tune...
bad ass tune.
NGL this is prolly a repeat comment on my part but this video - 14 years - so many comments...and I think we can all agree this was an underrated band. I can only say a few things from my own perspective - one is that we used to rock this on smoke rides in HS the other is that everytime I saw Soulfly with Mikey he was cool af, I tried to just bump it or get my ticket signed and he always stopped and talked with me a bit.
i get emotional
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOXX
amazing band !! a shame they dindt make more albums u.u
great tune yo, peace Mr. Straight
Wow, it has been years since i have heard this band :) still fucking punishes
PLEASE make this available on mobile devices
i got the cd when i started to listen to system back in 99 and...i didnt know he was dead till i joined the army 3 years ago

Just got da love da funk ma rockin-brotha! .-)
RIP lynn straight
Add this to the beat: dog you must be this physical thing, and I will teach you it. Dog you must be this thing, and then you will be my dog, then you will be the dog that is 'the' dog.
I didn't even know he died... that sucks he was one of the best metal singers ever, he sang for "dry kill logic" also. the guitarist now plays guitar for sevendust (another badass band)
No he didn’t. Dry kill logic took his singing style.
2022 !!!!!!

@Effedup There were two songs from the new album I've been able to find. From what I can tell, the second album would have been bigger than the first. The sound they were going for and that particular style would have, in my opinion changed how music was in the early part of 00's
That's true.
Lynn is a fucking legend. Uniquely original. Given the chance snot would have destroyed the metal scene
I don’t have anything against this band but snot was probably one of the only nu metal bands I never got into
These guys were on there way up when Lynn died. Both him and his dog were killed in the crash.
💪
wish more people who run across this site would look up the history of snot and Lynn.. They were from a time when Korn was on top of the world, Stined and Slipknot were young.. The early to mid 90's my friends. Dont hate it because you didnt live in that time,if u were too young then you should look into the bands. knowledge. korn wold have been buried by these guys. the NEXT BIG THING.Read into it man. OZZFEST.. Family Values tour. educate b 4 u judge..
couldnt have send it better myself MrJBliss
Im fucking olddddd damn...
His screams around 1:30 sounds alot alot alot like Chad's scream from Mudvayne! (if that is what he is named)
R.I.P Lynn, you where a great singer.
This comment is 10 years old lol. My friend just showed me this band I said "sounds like Mudvayne LD50 era, except that was from 2000 and this 1997, crazy"
Whole songs sounds kinda like cradle by Mudvayne
Yeah they never got famous... I had the opportunity of meeting Lynn during the Soulfly, Hed P.E, tour talked with him for a good half hour or so before his set and I can say he is defintiely one of my main inspirations and idols for music. He had a way about him that screamed originality. He wasn't afraid to be himself.
Could we jus be bred to kill or die? Lynn had a intelligently shitty outlook on life. Fukn true genius.
Snot
boxxxxxxxxxx
@Effedup i know man, its such a shame, this band was AWESOME, i mean there isnt a single song on this album that isnt good, rip lynn
