Perhaps do some research friend. Joey wasn't playing very well and he didn't come out with the real reason why, and I think the band just thought he had lost the heart for it and was time for him to go.. he hid his condition from the band and a lot of other people, maybe he was embarrassed. But I don't think they ever used him or stopped loving him.

Many great bands have put out tonnes of awesome songs between them during that time. Damn this really makes me nostalgic for the attitude and personality of the original Slipknot. I was in prison in '98 when I got my first dose of slipknot, also when I discovered Zebrahead. They have both wandered so far away from all the things that so many people fell in love with and went from being a distinct individual to being one of many, and not nearly inspiring enough to hold my interest for an entire song of their current material. It's a sad shame. Kind of makes you tear up when you listen to the old stuff, because there are so many memories tied to those songs (and that style, in general), and it's almost like experiencing a death because they are never coming back.
