These men are all so talented. I am always surprised when I revisit slipknot because Corey’s vocal range and capabilities are unmatched, rapper, singer, screamer. Anyone who doesn’t see the artistry in this music is absolutely dense.
RIP Shelley Duvall. She died today at 75. The Spit It Out video is the reason I ever watched The Shining with so much interest, and loved the way the characters were played by Jack and Shelley. Great movie. Great music video.

Respect for using The Shining reference in the end of the video. Plus being the anthem for the "jump the fuck up" if seen live, this song hits to another level if you've seen them live. If not? You haven't lived until you seen these MASTERS OF METAL in live. I got the honor to see them in the same exact location where I got my associate's degree, so looking up into those rafters and seeing where I was at when this legendary band blew my mind and left me literally speechless (literally screamed with enthusiasm to their live performance I couldn't talk for a solid day afterwards, with zero regrets). I got the honor to see them in the same exact location where I got my associate's degree, so looking up into those rafters and seeing where I was at when this legendary band blew my mind and left me literally speechless (literally screamed with enthusiasm to their live performance I couldn't talk for a solid day afterwards, with zero regrets). Eyeless is by far the most epic song to be heard live, when the bass waves that HIT me? That was truly epic.

Awesome knowing I was at the concert this was shot at. Ankeny Airfield in Ankeny, Ia 7/31/99. I knew right away I was witnessing something very special. The energy was something I've never felt since in my life. I've been to many of their shows and they have all been amazing, but that one felt like lightning in a bottle. A hungry Slipknot that was JUST about to explode onto the world stage. It blew my 14 year old mind right off my shoulders in the best possible way.
