I don't remember having ribs at Thanksgiving, but they are certainly something to be thankful for! The little wire brush does an excellent job mimicking the texture of meat fibers. Both meats look delicious!
LOLOLOLOLOLOL! My family has those known for Grilling in snow storms!!!!LOLOLLOL! RIBS can show up anytime family gets together! There is a link for clay tools set with my wire tool in the description.
Gretchen, I absolutely adore your miniatures. The meats are spot on. Made my mouth water. I have also subscribed to your channel. Please keep the minis coming. 💛
Welcome Sentimental Soul! I am SO Glad you have chosen to be a part of my Journey! I truly appreciate your kind words of expression and comments. It is nice to know that my work is bringing JOY! Thanks Again! Enjoy!
I've been working my way through your videos from the beginning of the boarding house. The last video was the turkeys and while watching it, I was thinking about ribs!! Clicked on the next video and there they were!!! Yay!! Love your videos.
I just love you 😊 ..you're kill'n it!! 😍 I love how the wire brush adds such realism to that meat.. I'm on so many other projects right now ..and polymer clay is one of my favorites.. I know and love what that feels like..when your working with that clay and gett'n in there..🤗 working it into a miniature treasure. It's blissful..takes me away..like calcon🥰 member those commercials..😆 My grandson loves vintage commercials from when I was a kid. He cracked up at the Nair short shorts ..🤣💞
Thank you! You are Very Kind! YES BLISSFUL is the WORD! I can get totally Lost in my workshop! When family had not seen me or heard from me in a while, they would say, " she's in little Gretchen's workshop", which is how my channel got it's name! LOLOLLOL! WOW !!!! CALGON, i forgot about them i live by the concept of a hot bath with bubbles taking me away!!! NAIR Short Shorts!!!!LOLOLOLOLOL!!! that took me ALL the way back!
@@littlegretchensworkshop7665 yup sounds bout right..lol when I'm in my workspace..nothing gets done round the house and no one gets fed!!🤣😂 And I deserve it!!!
Hello, they look really appetising, thank you for the tutorial, I'm looking forward to your next video, Best wishes from Diane in Yorkshire, England, UK 🇬🇧
These foods look realistic, Mom Doll! You are great at making food. While you were working, it made me think of how my mamma used to score the top of our ham into diamonds and put a pineapple ring in each diamond with a whole clove in the middle of each ring, all topped with brown sugar! It was so delicious! I do tend to make stuff too big, also. Once I made a cooked Christmas goose and it turned out to be twice as large as it should've been. It turned out so big it wouldn't fit on any platter. It looked good otherwise and I didn't want to throw it out, so I made a special wooden cutting board for it- you know, with the little, metal spikes and juice indentations. But, anyway, I tend to make stuff too big and have to make an extra effort to scale down as I go. 🍗
THANK You! And Yes l totally remember hams with cloves pineapples and brown sugar! Those were the Days! Yeah I think my tendency to to make things to big is due to my to early miniature days in 1/6th scale ( Barbie size). I want to to do a house one day and totally disregard scale! I think that would be fun!
The ribs!!!! How preciously delicious looking. You always make great ham ;) Is the living doll a bit translucent? I've always used fimo, of course it's okay to mix brands of clay if you're careful with the oven temperature, but I'm just curious if that's why you use it. Thanks for all the fun!
They look so good Gretchen! Really juicy and tasty! Ribs definitely make an appearance in our house at Christmas and you gotta get in quick because they are always the first to go! One little detail note though, rib bones are usually quite flat in shape not round like other bones. I'm not intending to sound critical because you usually have your little details on point, but it's just something I noticed (possibly because I studied anatomy in depth for my day job lol).
You are Exactly Right 🤣 I realized it but I was already in the flow! I do plan to make some for Dress Shop so I do them right next time 😂❤️. I appreciate your feedback ❤️p

I’ll have ribs please! I hope you have enough so the dolls don’t have to fight over them! The ham looks so real! Amazing yummys.
I made Two platters it's 1st come 1st serve. The Dolls know the rules! Fighting is not allowed 🤣😂🤣 in the Rooming House!❤️❤️❤️

If you changed your mind on the dollhouse etc, that’s fine. I can always donate it.

Yes, the "Living Doll" is translucent looking. To me it's perfect for imitation fat 😂! I use it to make My DOLLS too!
