    Those vegetables all came out fantastic!
    I once made a tray of some vegetables. I don't remember what all was on the tray, except potatoes, greenbeans, and corn on the cob. The greenbeans were too long, but the potatoes came out pretty good. But that corn on the cob was the jewel in my crown! LOL I wish it wasn't stuck in storage in California!
    I love fried green tomatoes! I like to fry them with a jalapeño for a little extra zip. Yum!

    Wonderful, fabulous …and yummy looking! So realistic, dirt included, of course!
    Fried green tomatoes …such a family favorite here! Another favorite - bacon and tomato sandwiches! Ahhh -- fresh tomatoes from the garden. My mon used to make homemade ketchup - it took soooooo many tomatoes and soooooo much time! But it was amazing in taste!
    Tomatoes - any way, any how - I love them!!!! Like the song says ….there are only 2 things that money can’t buy …and that’s true love and homegrown tomatoes!!!
    I have same book you shared! I too, love looking at the photos! Such inspirations! Love your video! Many thanks! Kathleen ❤

    Great job on the fruits and vegetables! ☺ The shading and "dirt" really makes them come alive. 🥰 I've made some fruit using Play-Dough, and it was very fun. I recently found some polymer clay at the thrift store, but the instructions were missing. I'll just bake it low and slow and keep an eye on it when I'm ready to bake. I have orange, yellow, green, and white, so I have some fruit and veggie options. 🙂

    • @JoF999
      @JoF999 Місяць тому +1

      You can always use a heat gun to bake small polymer clay projects too, it's much quicker and less chance of going wrong. If you know the brand of polymer clay you could Google the instructions. But low and slow is definitely a good practice, lol

    Why doesn't that surprise me... Fried Green Tomatoes are my favorite appetizer. I always go to a local fish shack on the beach, and they have the best around. Perfect consistency not mushy..they are huge and served with a spicy petal sauce...so so good. They taste best when cooled down. Like tomato sauce.. more flavor. Lol is also one of my favorite movies🤭
    I also prefer beefsteak Tom's too and I always get the firm ones..I like to dice them, marinate them in a seasoned olive or sunflower oil and fire roast them in the broiler till they get little charged tips. Sometimes, I add garlic, onions, and bell peppers. Then I use this for sauce and soup bases.😍
    Love love love your produce makes and that book is so neat. I would have looked at that book for hours as a kid..😂❤

    • @littlegretchensworkshop7665
      @littlegretchensworkshop7665  Місяць тому +1

      Lololol! Not a silly question at all! Yes you can bake the toothpick with it stuck in the clay. It will be fine! But using UV LIGHT to o bake clay, I've never tried that. I have known artists that bake the clay with Heat gun. But I've never done that either. I would just stick to the instructions on your package for safety sake! AND PLEASE DO NOT PUT POLYMER CLAY IN MICROWAVE OVEN!🚫💖 I hope this helps,😀

    • @JoF999
      @JoF999 Місяць тому

      I've been working with polymer clay for a few years and never heard of uv baking, I think that's just for uv resin but I could be wrong. I can confirm the heat gun technique works very well for minature polymer clay projects and is much quicker and less faff than the oven. I love a short cut too lol
