I've got a fully bolted J32A2 in my car, and the speedometer on this thing that shows miles is moving almost as fast as mine that shows kilometers. Very impressive.
@U_aint_6 damn i assumed there was some tinkering done to the engine since you were blasting it past the tach redline but if thats the case it makes it even better
thing about honda they are first and foremost a engine building company.. it's just that honda is extremely conservative and would much rather have thousands of commuter cars than race cars. so their cars are all detuned... that's why their engines respond so well to simple breathing mods and or tunes
3.5 Vtec J model has alot of horses that can be gained by tuning it and giving it a proper exhaust and intake. My little Pilot has around 250hp but i know the engine is capable of atleast 50 more without turbos or superchargers etc...
I was gonna say that's pretty good for a 3.0L engine, but its a J35 swap so it makes sense. The J35 is so ridiculously overpowered nobody ever expects it lol

It is def an underrated motor.. and you can easily make an extra 50hp if you do it right.. biggest obstacle will be tuning.
