@@U_aint_6 nothing is gonna break? It's a 2014 V6 Sedan Accord. The auto transmission can handle the amount of power? will transmission hold this power well? Will I just need to change transmission fluid every 30k miles? I don't know how much power all those mods are gonna accumulate but am willing to spend the money.

Kinda regret selling my Marino Red 9th gen Honda Accord (EX-L) 6/6MT; but I got into the LS RWD platform scene, through a 5th gen Chevy Camaro (2)SS…. and I gotta say, it’s definitely a different ball park. I will say that I definitely don’t need to beat the absolute piss out of my car (the V8 Camaro), nor mod the living shit out of it though; which was sort of a small plus. Although, you gotta take into account the cost-effective measures that went along with trying to keep up with a 400-420+ HP factory car. It’s my first real American car (which I also daily drive at the moment), and the differences in quality, right off the bat, are super apparent. I will say that even for an older car that was garage kept as a collector car, it still had it’s fair share of issues, that most of the hard driven, pre-owned 2012+ Honda Accord’s I had, surpassed. I kinda chalk it up to the mass production American muscle car quality (and quantity); but for a car that I’m currently not absolutely bashing on every other day (or few days), it’s been okay. I’ve had to replace some semi-major stuff, like the clutch master cylinder and power steering pump (gone through 2). Aside from that, maintenance is obviously a lot more than owning a V6 Accord (even a performance built one). The engine takes ~8 qts of oil, and the trans takes ~4 qts of fluid; not to mention semi-long lasting semi-metallic brake pads (if you want semi-affordable prices and the best brake performance), as well as the semi-expensive Y-speed rated 20” inch tires… Gas mileage for the automatic Camaro SS model (L99 w/ AFM, DOD), gives like 2-3 MPG more tops, at the cost of the cylinder deactivation being more complicated and giving higher probability for mechanical issues (nothing too different from Honda/Acura VCM issues in their automatic engine variants).

@@isnowyazn I thought of all of that when building this car, v8’s are nice but cost/maintenance just didn’t make sense to me when I can do the same performance and have Honda reliability. This is a completely unopened stock from Honda motor, you can’t beat that. I daily drive this car as well and the sph (smiles per hour) are absolutely unmatched. @@U_aint_6 I love the car man I am planning on buy the 2013 Honda Accord V6 Sedan automatic for my next car I’ve been looking at this car for a while and even though they are fwd they hook onto the road, probably the most underrated fwd car ever and are amazing on a roll it’s good not to launch from a dig cause it can mess with the transmission. In general for any car if people just messing around launching from a standing still position later down the line they are gonna need a new transmission at an earlier point it’s just not good for any transmission.
