Zinc Point has some REALLY bad things happening with their ammo including squib rounds and exploding pistols- I'd steer clear.
A couple instances of their 9mm exploding and squib loads that have no powder. I avoid it completely.
Bought 7.62x51 from them several times in the past, during this, "crisis."
One time they only sent half of my order. A week later they made it right. Stuff Happens. I will use them again. Thanks Elvis.

I'm leery about ordering from a company that has a B rating from the BBB, the majority of the complaints have to do with shipping. I didn't even search for their rating. When I dropped "zinc point" into a search engine the 2nd result that came up was the B Rating from the BBB website.
You asked me to comment if I knew about anybody that’s bought this. There’s many videos here on UA-cam about this company and how dangerous their ammunition is. The supplier of their brass did a cease-and-desist because they were doing shady business practices. Also, there’s one video where a person had a catastrophic failure and ishis Glock blew apart because of a triple charger or double charged from Z point. Also another UA-cam contact creator shows a video of several of his guns having squib rounds. I would pull this video if I was you. Zinc point is proven to be a unreliable and dangerous supplier of ammunition .
You had me at ZINC - I have been casting and shooting lots of zinc - Have a few casting videos up on my channel. As for Zinc Point ammo - I had a box of 9mm they shot great out of my Ruger PC

The quickest way for them to wreck their business would be to over advertise their ability to produce. I'm just making up numbers here but imagine if they can produce 10,000 rounds a day, and they put their name out everywhere and consistently get orders for 100,000 rounds a day. I'm sure it takes quite a while to expand a business, and I'm sure their machines have to be ordered and then built by the manufacturer. How many times will someone keep going back to a newly discovered source if they are out of stock every time they check. I'm sure it's a delicate balancing act getting enough business to keep expanding, but not over sell what you can produce.
Well its good you haven't because this ammo has blown up many guns
Anyone who has been buying primers through the pandemic should be pretty familiar with these guys as they pop up near bottom on Ammoseek slightly cheaper than the other primer scalpers. They import vast quantities of Argentinian primers and sell them for more than 50% more than Brownells and Midway sell CCI and Federal.
I got 2,000 small pistol primers from them during the height of the pandemic, so far no problems but I am still working out some initial loads with them since finding time to go to the range this year has been hard. Their preprimed brass seems to be a better deal per unit since you get new brass in the deal but I haven't heard of anyone testing it yet, it all depends on how good their brass turns out to be.
Just watched a video of 9mm ammo from Zinc Point. Bad ammo exploded in a Glock. Did you have any trouble with the 9 mm ammo ?

TMJ=TOTAL metal jacket. Meaning the rear of the bullet doesn’t have exposed lead, it’s covered with the copper jacket.

Zinc Point has currently been doing shady business practices selling bad 9mm ammo that has caused a few pistols to explode upon use. Just passing the word around. Another youtuber by the name of Control the Gun has done an indepth review of his experience with Zinc Point's ammo and company. Suggest checking it out.
I've been loading zinc in 300blk and 243 lately . I've had great luck with 300 blk .

This stuff is manufactured by different places and branded and sold by Zinc, the 9mm has blown up pistols, the 7.62x51 has random corrosive primers mixed in with non corrosive. Website is dark, but avoid at all costs!

Hey zinc point, look into WVs new legislation on ammo manufacturers. You'll like it
The company seems out of business the website does not work anymore. There are reports all over the internet their ammo have issues and causes malfunctions to customers’ firearms and injuries. Rule of thumb, don’t buy ammo from company that uses other manufacturers’ brass or makes re-manufactured ammo. Only buy ammo made by reputable manufacturers.
Thanks for the info. Prices are still a little high for me. I will keep using the inventory that was purchased during then cheap and plentiful years of the last administration. Wish I could get my 9mm groups that tight.

Hey y'all don't feel too bad, if y'all think Russia is just going to give upa multimillion dollar ammo market? No way, they'll do what china has done to get around the tariffs Trump placed on them. Tula will still produce cheap steel cased ammo under a different incorporated name that Tula also owns, then ship it to a subordinate country like Romania or Ukraine, then ship to America by doing that it'll no longer ve a Russian product it'll be a Romanian or Ukrainian product. Thus the ban doesn't work, it'll just make cheap steel cased a little less cheap and also create alternative shipping routes. That's how China is still been able to supply the US with one-third of its honey consumption, because they initially ship it to Taiwan, who then ships a Taiwanese product to America avoiding the Tariff completely.

So get a Revolt doesn't of happening, people need to realize that it's going to take a few thousand Patriots to die before everybody stands the fuck up as one, espically with the current political party in power promoting division by race number one, political affiliation and other stupid things that work surprisingly well for the average person to not be able to see past. I ordered 1000 rounds of 9mm . Makes no difference which pistol I try shooting it in, many, many no fires. Also delivery is very problematic. I did not open or try the ammo prior to 30 days after receiving so they would not allow a return of the ammo. I have talked with other people who have ordered from them and their experience is same as mine. Order at your own risk

What components do they produce? I am still trying to save for the 77grain Elvis mould from Arsenal, then I can start casting all the zinc ingots I've been stacking up. One question about your 77 grain mould, I've been wondering is are gas checks absolutely required on the tail of those 77g bullets? Definitely going to check out ZincPoint, I figured the small time boutique shops were going to start emerging to fill the void of the russian ammo

I just ordered 4000 small pistol primers for 313 bucks. There was a 148 dollar discount. So I jumped on it. Was having a hard time finding them until I ran across zinc point . Hopefully they will perform well.

I placed an order for the preprimed 762 cases and they just arrived today. Three days from the time I ordered till they arrived at the house. Giving I live in Texas so shipping should not have taken very long anyways. Unfortunately I am a truck driver and on the road right now. So I cannot expect them

ZP is terrible ammo. People have had some serious problems with the ammo including blowing up the pistol and their customer service is extremely terrible.
They also have primers at armslist prices, brand x @ $115/1000.
Saw them on ammo seek going to give them a try. I would love to have some steel core.

Haven't bought ammo in a few years. Seems a bit steep on their pricing. 55.00 for 100 rds? The last time I bought 556, 12500 rds in a 35 gallon drum for 4300.00 and I thought that was outrageous at the time.
A number of people have had very dangerous situations with Zinc Point. Check the UA-cam videos. No way will I touch that stuff ....
Bad stuff. There loaded ammo has blown up at least six firearms. Stay away from them.
I hope this is real. I just ordered a box of 9mm. 100 count with free shipping ( thanks Elvis ) $39.04. Last time I check my shooting range they wanted $38 for a box of 50.

Received the ammo today . Appears to be brass casing and a brass coated bullet. Both are non magnetic. "Non-Corosive "

DO NOT use this garbage! Spent casings will get lodged in the chamber with the occasional squib and bad primer. I have only experienced stuck casings in multiple guns. This coming from someone who uses a lot of steel cased ammo. They WILL NOT stand behind the product…

I'm having difficulty with powder load. The tracer bullet has a cavity and is longer than a similar 150gr FMJ bullet. Using H110. Will try 14gr today. I am more afraid of under filling than over with H110. Had a rifle explore from ammo bought that was under filled H110 for the bullet weight.
I just looked. And their prices are horribly inflated. Everyone should refuse to buy from price gouging sources. If cabellas, academy, sportsmans warehouse, and the gun store douwn the street all sell a box of 9mm fmj for about $20. Everyone else can too. This site is charging $45 for 115gr.

Bought some 300 blk out remanufactured rounds from them recently. Seen some pretty rough reviews though and am a bit shakey to run it through my rifle... Have you heard anything bad regarding them?
I purchased some from them. After reading reviews I wont be buying more. Ill just run some tula. Safer. I have read 3 reviews of guns blowing up. And another 3 reviews of other major issues. I dont trust that ammo.

Just got my ammo in today! I read a lot of scary reviews of Zinc Manufacturing. From orders being short to it taking weeks to get an order….let me say I am not one of them! I ordered 1000 rounds of Winchester 9mm Luger. Package was on my door step in one week with all 1000 rounds! Triple boxed not a single case damaged! 1000 rounds of Winchester on sale & used a coupon code for free shipping total was $330! What a steal! Don’t let bad reviews from people deter you from getting great ammo at a great price! Especially when ammo in stores is hit or miss or 1-2 box minimums…if they have ANY on the shelf, like they are around me! Great job Zinc Point and thank you again! Will definitely be ordering more with you guys!
