Hey man yeah I was the one who recommended medicating her. Keep with it, once you get it dialed in it really helps. I give half a pill the day before the hunt then 3/4 a pill the morning of the hunt as we are leaving the house.
Read the instructions on trolling motors.... they dont like to be frozen.....check the fuse. Scaup check for the white trailing edge going to end of wing = Greater Scaup
Awesome video, can you let me know the name of the fish finder riser, you are using (the pole that is connected to your fish finder) ? Or the link? I am looking for something exactly like it. Thanks!
I know your in the flatlands so theres probably not many hills around but id be a bit weary about hauling that big boat around with your f150 Edit: jigs look pretty good in my personal opinion i wouldnt take the maribou all the way to the jig head id go about to where your keeper is and cut it especially because your gonna wrap a lot more around it you dont necessarily need the extra material to be under tension itll make your bodies a bit more uniform but some people like their jigs or flys a bit un uniform
Dude you just threw out the decoys out in front of Cora getting her fired up but not getting to release to retrieve. Training your throwing bumpers then telling her to fetch getting her fired up no wonder she whines in the blind.
@ no you tie them or kennel them throwing decoys and do it every time. I trained back in the 90’s when we didn’t have fancy collars, customer complained his dog would whine and exhibit the some of the same traits as Cora even retrieved decoys. Had to go hunting with him to find out why he treated a working dog like a lap dog but expected a working dog on command AKC champion on demand. Now if you throw bumpers and tell your dog to retrieve that all they want to do is please you and it excites the dog watching you throw decoys just like that one thing you teased them with going and getting, they expect to get that chance then let them down. Hurts confidence understanding and obedience in young dogs. Solution is to throw decoys and bumpers allowing the dog to get the joy out or don’t allow them to watch you throw decoys.
The decoys are nice to have as nicer decoys will help with duck confidence, but yes you are correct the most important thing is being where the ducks are. Also hunting goldeneyes are super fun! Don’t hate on people for their preferences, be more positive!
On the trolling motor, check fuses, circuit breaker, connections, etc.
Nice day in the great outdoors for sure...ducks and fish!!!!
Your production has gotten a lot better!
Hunting and fishing on the same day! It doesn't get much better than that.

Thanks for the tip! It helps so much!
Just wanted to say, love your videos keep up the great work!

Yep I completely see why it’s time for 🆕 🐕
Have you pattern your gun with the muller choke
Not yet!
Heck yeah! That was a great day and of course Kora is awesome!!!
Glad you enjoyed the hunt, I had a blast!
Nice boat man!
Golden eyes look good I love divers like you your mallards
What blind are you running?
What GoPro do you use?
What is the make and model of that panel blind? Does Rogers carry it?
Try out tipping your hook with crappie nibbles chartreuse with flake. Works great
Thanks for the tip, I’ll give that a shot!
Gonna give the poor dog whiplash waving that honey bun around like that! lol

Great video
What camera are you using on your barrel?
ShotKam
@ Okay, is there a cheaper one you would recommend?
got my first "rogue" Golden Eye this morning
Love it!
Quick question how far do you park your boat away from your spot?
A few hundred yards usually. I use the land features to help hide it as well
@@OutdoorLimitsthanks man
How did it take that long to see that mallard 43:34 😂😂
Sun is in his eyes, camera doesn’t pick up the glare
My guess is the sun. He was decoying pretty high too
Awesome video, can you let me know the name of the fish finder riser, you are using (the pole that is connected to your fish finder)
? Or the link? I am looking for something exactly like it. Thanks!
Stowaway xl
Awesome thank you 👍
What call do you use if you don’t mind me asking?
Ducklander loud timber
When you got smacked with the limb😂
Not once but TWICE!
What camera are you using?
Canon 90d
Focus is not an issue with her when it came time for you to wave that honey bun infront of her. Lol
You should see her with pizza
I think you're confusing your dog more than anything else....could be wrong though, probably am
We had a bit of confusion there for a minute
No baby yet?
Baby came December 10
Lmao yeah Cora is focused on that honeybun lol.
Such a Labrador….
First
Josh your not the only one who has lost a phone,😂 And I have lost 300$ knife as well
So much to keep track of these days
come on man, call your dog a dumb dumb while giving multiple commands and having her hid behind the blind where she cant mark anything.
Never mind that she made the retrieve with one line and send
You should do a giveaway with your old decoys…to me
I’m not done with them yet!
@ ahh shucks. Welp, Keep up the good work. Still working on my first limit, our season ends in a week 🤞🏾

That's what a truck is used for
something you should try if you haven't already is using the feathers from the ducks you get on your crappie jigs
Not sure how good they would work since they repel water
Why you stop taking the other dog
She is not ready to hunt yet. She will go next season
money can’t train your dog. you have to
Dude you just threw out the decoys out in front of Cora getting her fired up but not getting to release to retrieve. Training your throwing bumpers then telling her to fetch getting her fired up no wonder she whines in the blind.
So you’re supposed to cover your duck dogs eyes while you throw out decoys? It’s not the decoys it’s the dog😂

She knows what decoys are
@ Great but she still getting fired up just like a Bumper. Try taking a bumper and tossing it a few times after the decoys. Happy New Year!!!
Might want to budget a taller seat for your blind!!!
I agree
What a lot of BS. It's about being where the ducks wanna be, not the latest decoy model. Total BS....and nobody, who is anybody hunts goldeneye. 😅😅😅
I hunt golden eye sounds like a you problem bro. Super fun and fast, pretty tough to shoot too.
Sounds like you might need to take a chill pill
@OutdoorLimits , just gets old, all these guys pimping the latest decoy. It's BS.
