My favorite hole is at the hunting property my dad passed onto me. He leased a specific blind in a flooded corn impoundment before becoming an owner in the property around 1984. He passed unexpectedly 3 years ago and I am now the recipient of his ownership. We have 10 blinds spread throughout corn, millet, and timber compartments, but my dad's original hole, "The Little Hole", holds a place in my heart forever. I even harvested a 10 year old mallard drake band in his spot on the last day of season this year.

My grandpa had a blind in the same pothole on the mississippi river for 40 some years. It's where I learned to hunt and where I shot my first birds. It's also where we spread his ashes after he passed. It's dried up now and hasn't had water for a few years... I'd give anything to hunt that spot again.. So many memories in that little pocket.

My favorite spot is public marsh that I started hunting last year. I haven’t killed much on it but getting to see the world wake up and learning to not take what we do have for granted is nice.

My favorite hole is a cove on Lake Fork in Texas behind my grandparents place. Growing up I never had the introduction to duck hunting but a few years back got in to it and decided to learn everything there is to know. That season we spent every weekend out there trying to figure out how to get these ducks to land in our decoys. Many many skunks but we never gave up. The last day of hunting season we finally figured it out and were able to shoot some mallards, gadwalls and a ringneck. Was the best feeling in the world. Can’t wait to one day take my newborn son out and teach him what I am now still learning! Happy new years to you boys! Love the cause!

My favorite hole is at my now uncles camp. it was my first time duck hunting. I was 12 and my moms bf of the time asked if i wanted to go for youth hunt. We get in the blind it was so foggy you couldn't see 30 yards up or in front right at shooting light a group of 8 mallards come out the fog in my face a shot a quad first time shooting at duck. Needless to say we hit my limit on the next group. I folded a teal for the limit at 60 yards with a 20 gauge. My moms bf couldn't believe i hit it. we sat till about 9 and just enjoyed the show over 80 mallards lit in the whole that morning. That hunt made me so addicted to duck hunting haven't stopped since I'm now 27.

My all time favorite hunting spot is a small Wood Duck hole in the PNW Washington. I went on my first duck hunt there on youth day and we shot a three man limit within 40 minutes. I ended up shooting my first wood duck drake and first mallard drake that morning, and is a day I will never forget. That hunt, along with this channel has only fueled my addiction to hunting. Im only 16 now and can proudly say that I’ll be a duck hunter for life.

Hi My name Lane. I am 13 years old and I love duck and goose hunting. At the beginning off December me and my dad went to jewell Kansas to hunt ducks with Northern wings outfitters. While we where there we shot 113 ducks and one goose. Also at the beginning of Wisconsin early goose season I shot my first banded goose. Thank you

Favorite hole is draw blind #55 at reel foot lake in tiptonville Tennessee! We went Christmas morning 2013 and killed a 7 man limit by 9! Absolutely murder show! Holds back great memories because that was the last time I got to hunt with granddaddy before he passed away! But it was a great hunt and he’s killing them up there in heaven now! 🙏

My favorite spot is a wood duck hole that I took my dad too on his first duck hunt! He always hunted deer but never ducks until I invited him out. It’s a small tight water spot and the joy he has on his face everytime we go there makes it a special spot. I’ve deemed it me and my dad’s spot so whenever it’s hunted it’s just us 2. Hard to beat being in the duck blind with the man that introduced you to hunting

It’s always foggy n there , when ya there you always get this feeling someone watching you and with you there. I go there a lot and sit there remembering lost family members , dad , grandpa’s and friends over the years.

I've worked and put a lot of money in my land for a long time in an effort to bring in ducks. From growing crops to pumping in water working our ass off for the last 18 years. All of a sudden this year it turned into something absolutely magical. We set in last night just watching and videoing as every bit of a thousand birds poured into our hole. It's gonna be a good end to 2024

My favorite spot is a public draw blind that I was blessed enough to draw when I was young in the blinds heyday. It was the king back then and I have wonderful memories. It was so special that one of my best friends was able to fulfill his father's wishes and spread his ashes there on opening morning just a few seasons ago.

My favorite hole was an old timber hole in Arkansas. My grandpa and his grandpa hunting this hole thousands of times. It’s definitely a sight to see the mallards falling from the skies down through the trees. Even the occasional group of wigeons buzzing the decoys. Just a really sentimental hole for me and my family

My favorite hole is a farm that we run grain crops on at work. Highway pond near the local truck stop. Mix of field hunting, pond hunting, and the creek at our low water crossing for our farm equipment. A beaver keeps building a dam at the crossing and making an awesome hole!

My favorite spot is just west of Springfield Mo, it’s a tiny little public timber spot that only gets good on a snow/ice hunt. My brother, cousin and I have all had great hunts there. More than that we’ve all had so many laughs and relaxing mornings in there. Such a fun little spot to hunt that’s timber in a region of farm ponds and sloughs!

My favorite hole is my uncles property in high island Texas. He took me on my first hunt there. We went out there on a marsh buggy. It’s 2000 acres of marsh right on the intercoastal waterway. From the first shot I was hooked. We shot a 5 man limit that first day of green winged teal. Ever since that first hunt I have lived and breathed waterfowl hunting. It’s all I think about, dream about, and all I want to do. My uncles spot is in the middle of a big pond in that marsh where they built a beautiful pit blind that allows you to kill ducks from any direction. Winning these decoys would mean the world to me because it would allow me to finally go hunt on my own. They would be my first decoys

My favorite spot has to be this field we had growing up, it was conveniently dead nuts between the biggest goose roost and loaf in our neck of the woods in those days. The sold the land and they built a big warehouse in the middle of it. Still smile when I drive by! We were the last to hunt it.

My favorite “hole” has got to be a local public lake close by to where I live. It’s mostly deep water flooded cypress where we have to hunt out the boat. I’ve had many good hunts and memories made out on the lake and shot several first time species. Y’all videos are great and enjoy watching! Don’t have an IG.

The best hole for me is a little private backwater slough pond about 3 miles from my home. I was given permission to hunt it right after I moved to Montana 10 years ago and have been honored to be able to take my daughters on their first duck hunts there. Every year it seems that I have to take the chainsaw out and make some holes for the ducks to land but once the water is opened up, there is a steady couple hundred that will go back and forth from the water to a 15 acre cattle field that boarders near by along the river. My oldest daughter and I have had the opportunity to shoot our limit in less than 30 mins more than once and then just sit for a few hours and watch how the birds will work over the pond and field. Sure is a special place in my heart.

Old swamp hole at my grandma's place. About 6 of us went in on a quick woodie hunt and ended up way laying the woodies teal and mallards. My nephew was young and had that real light skin tone. I grabbed a handful of mud off the creek bank and smeared it all over him. After the massacre I named that day"Magic Mud". Wish I could find the pictures. Great content yall

My favorite hole is where I learned how to hunt with my buddy because my whole family doesn’t hunt and didn’t have time to and me and my buddy would get his old 8 foot John boat out and paddle trough the trees and bow fish and fish then deer hunt the pond banks during deer season. Until we had a buddy take us duck hunting and now that’s all we want to do and we built a big blind for the pond and have hunted out of it all year and only shot a few birds but still learning the ways.

Most memorable duck hole is a special spot in the brackish marsh of the upper Texas coast. My dad started me out duck hunting in the marsh, in our spot called the Hard Pond. In a muddy tidal marsh with no bottom, this one hole had a hard bottom that you would only sink to your ankles walking around. Was able to take many mixed bags in this hole over the years.

My favorite hunt was at a public walk in spot. We had a huge cold front come in that brought some freezing temps and snow. All the water in the marsh was frozen and a buddy and I went to the walk in at 2am and walked 400yards breaking through the ice to get to a pond where we broke open a hole and ended up killing two pairs of mallards and a pair of stud Drake pintails that worked absolutely perfectly in the snow.

When we bought our farm in 06 we were out deer hunting and exploring. We kept hearing mallards. There was the little clump of trees in the middle of a field. We were like is there water in there? We stumbled in the little button Willow hole that was filled with mallards and wood ducks. We started shooting and killed a banded wood duck right then and there. I have been hunting it ever since. I would put it up against any hole in central Louisiana. Nickname the “soup bowl.” If ducks are in the area the bowl will be fire!

My favorite duck hunt was back when I was younger asking my dad for the 5th time to ask a man for the lease. The man granted us the property and I had my first duck hunt back in flooded buck brush with my dad. it was beautiful morning killing my first duck a male green wing teal. I’ll never forget it. My hole is some land we flood for the winter right by a river. We might not kill a lot of ducks but we have fun and have many great memories. Hollingsworthhuck11

That’s awesome that you guys are able to enjoy that place. It’s amazing to think about, but unfortunately that place and many others kills the rest of the southern parts of the state for the common man not wanting to be guided.

My special place would be our family farm in southern Utah. Been in the family for six generations. Its not huge but its where we all killed our first ducks and where we got numerous friends and family hooked on duck hunting also. Every time we hunt there we're reminded of those first hunts and our duty to make sure our hunting heritage stays alive. Henryhighcountry

My girlfriends grandpa and brother have the coolest place ever in West Tennessee with timber on it. They are nice enough to take me once a year. Last week we smacked them in the woods and I shot my first black duck

The Arkansas River sandbars are my go to. I killed my first duck (blue wing teal) there with my dad when I was 7. You can go out on any given day and never know what you are going to kill. I remember a buddy of mine and me killed 9 ducks and 8 of them were different species. Always my go to!

Trsteele_86 - My favorite hunting hole is a public pound that boards property that has been owned by my family for a hundred years now. There is an old dug in pit blind that has been there longer than anybody liveing today. I killed my first mallerd there, my granddad, Dad, and myself, and now my son has hunted out of it.

100k mallards held up in Missouri is most definitely going to impact the migration all the way to the coast.

@@jacoblogsdon2850 and he will continue to hold birds after their season is closed. Its called imprinting. We both know whats going on and whats happening. Called it many many years when our area lost 80% of its birds shortly after all these duck farms started popping up. Public waterfowl hunting is in severe danger
