I like this channel a little more everyday! Nice to see someone still enjoying building a kit. I'm working on the Tamiya GT-4 Mustang now. I highly recommend the kit mostly for the body. Otherwise it's just your standard tt-02... still quite a fun car none the less.
I have one of the old vintage frogs and all of the electronics were broken and the tires were all cracked and hard so I'm giving it some 21st century love
Hey Gavin Do you heat your paint cans first before spraying. It’s something that I’ve only recently started doing. I put the can in the sink with hot water. First thing I noticed was the pressure seemed to increase, and sprayed better, the spray pattern was increased and it seemed to use less paint but covered better. I’m not a fan of scuffing, especially for metallic, as any deeper scratches the metallic will lay different and show up. Straight colour shouldn’t be a problem, but metallic needs to be uniform! That’s a lesson from my automotive spray painting days and the theory should apply to lexan. It’s just inside out. 👍🤓🇦🇺
My absolute fav Tamiya model I like to paint the undertray in the same colour as the body :) PS-12 was used on the original Egress. It's not that much different from PS-41
Adjust the shock collars by moving them down. This will up the spring tension and the rebound rate. If the shocks are sticking regardless, it sounds like you need to rebuild them and check each part is fitted correctly.
What a great video my friend~!!😍😍🙋♂️👍🤩
Great looking buggy, the clear windows look fantastic, the car deserves a driver inside.

Yep I warm the can first 👍🏻 it helps in the colder UK weather.
RCKicks our summer has come to a rapid end 😢 but it’s a practice that I’ll continue to use 👍🤓🇦🇺
Man ild love that thing
Its a stunner that's for sure.
My absolute fav Tamiya model

That's good to know. I couldn't see much of a difference. :)
PS 12 is fine my friend....... this is the colour tamiya suggest you paint the vintage egress.
Great recovery with the paint looks the nuts 👏🏻👏🏻 is she a runner or sitting pretty this one ?
Great video loved it
Slevin Kelevra Hi Slevin, This will be a runner 👍🏻.
Egress or Top Force EVO: that's the question !
All my cars body have clear windows.
Love your videos and the things you do ! Maybe an odd question but where did you get your Maintenance stand from / Kind Regards
Loads on eBay and work well for little money.
Where can I purchase the RC stand in the thumbnail?
Moltov do a perfect chrome its the best chrome in a can you can get
*Alex* V-i-P Nice, I will give it a go 👍🏻
Thanks for the video. Does anyone know why he takes a knife to the decal sheet? are they not already pre-cut?
90% of Tamiya decals are not pre-cut.
Hi Gavin question how do you make the egress shocks rebound back mine keep sticking

Hello! I just subbed and was wondering if a Egress body shell will fit to Top-Force with small mods?
Cosmo 1:35 Hi and welcome Cosmo. 👍🏻 I’ve never had a Top-Force so I can’t say. Not sure if anyone else knows the answer to this in the comments?
@@RCKickschannel I think there's only one way to make it sure.. :)
Why oh why it's so EXPENSIVE? 😔
