@@SallySinSeven I probably am the turbulent type, not totally sure, I took the personality test at my therapist’s recommendation and she wasn’t as concerned with the turbulent/not turbulent part so I didn’t pay it much attention.

I was weird as a child too, always collecting bugs, burying boxes with my toys as a treasure. But as I grow up I was so afraid to be singled out and be bullied. I kinda regret it now because I never had a friend like me bcos I wasn't true to myself in the first place

I think my problem is, while I’m explaining things, I forget to also explain the knowledge needed in order to understand the concept I’m trying to convey. I don’t realize I’m doing this because I’ve thought about it so much that it seems obvious to me.
Me: “He’s like a fish.”
Other person: ?????
Me: “You know, like how a fish doesn’t know it’s it’s swimming in water.”
Other person: “How does a fish not know they’re swimming in water?”
Me: “Because they’ve never known anything different.”

@@olivialamb2527 I suppose the only thing deeper than spirituality would be self realization? Even if your self realization comes through spirituality. You could argue that when one realizes the self, spirituality almost becomes superficial in a way, while still being important. Aurora's music helps me realize how I feel about being myself just for the purpose of being me. Sorry if that is too confusing I don't really know how to word it lol :>

Like if the top of the hierarchy is self-actualization, even higher than that would be self-transcendence. If that makes sense!

The people who hate you for you being you aren't the people you want in your life anyways :) People who really hate others for no other reason than one being themselves are toxic and insecure. @@m3rl1n4 Still the same thing. If someone doesn't like you it is okay, even if it is your own family. Me and my dad do not get along at all and it is just because we are really different and he doesn't really know how to channel his feelings right. We ignored each other the last couple of years when I was living with my parents (and before that it was just constant yelling and fighting) but now that I live with myself it is easier for us and we can actually even talk sometimes. Imo you don't have to please your parents with your career choices etc. It is your life afterall.

aurora is just a little pixie who is soft and kind like a lot of INFPs, but she's so _stable_ about it. she does her own thing and isn't scared to be her authentic self. for me, it's really hard. i'm an INFP-T; at home i feel alive and magical. i can dance and sing and tell stories. but then i shut down in front of others and don't get the chance to show that authenticity. she really inspires me to embrace the childlike qualities i have without being afraid to show that true, authentic side of me to others.
I wish i can be her. She is the only person i truly admire and connect on a deeper level. She is like the reality of my imagination of me

We can learn a lot from people like her, she's to in tune with herself and with the world that she's insightful but also childlike. The duality of her personalities and how she switches back and forth without shame or apology. She's what we should all aspire to be.

i feel like aurora's always telling us about a secret in her heart through everything, except its not a secret cause she has no problem telling people about it, its just that we dont understand. its like she is so used to being authentic that she never uses words like im fine or any noncomittal phrase that is not the truth because in a world where all that matter is all the beautiful things about life u are compelled to be authentic cause whats the point of acting, and i find that part of aurora beautiful
like she is just existing she would not worry about what other people think, what she thinks, nothing she doesnt think about thinking she just does it
people like we us we have to learn how to be open minded and kind and truthful, we have to constantly try to defeat these weaknesses but aurora doesnt seem to have them, she is very untouched by the outside world, she draws inspiration from it but doesnt not try to imitate it as we do

She definitely has insecurities. She's not perfect or some ethereal being. She has said herself she is anxious in front of others and it feels weird to sing in front of people. I think she feels the same fears and insecurities everyone else does. She just doesn't let it stop her from being herself or doing what she really wants to do. You can feel fear. Fear is not bad. But never let fear stop you from being honest or from being yourself. It's what I've learned.

This is autism. She's autistic. This is how it manifests in females, when they are high-IQ, high-functioning, and highly creative.
You can see it in the way she takes questions denotatively, rather than as attempts to merge emotionally and signal conviviality, as most people use words. She does those latter things explicitly, by saying things like, 'I want you to be happy, and for there to be peace.'
You can see it in the refusal to adopt the unspoken social norms for which sufficient justification appears lacking. This is particularly apparent when she casually mentions masturbation as one of her hobbies. This is a point of ideology for her, so that she'll pretend to not even be _aware_ of the social norm, though that is not actually the case. It's a refusal to participate in it or even acknowledge it, to render it not even worthy of notice, since it appears not to be justified, to her.
You can see it in the lack of apologetics for her own nature. Most people judge themselves by the judgement of others, so that they are constantly attempting to gauge their own conformity to social expectations, in order to signal apologies for any deviations therefrom. Autistic people judge themselves, rather, by some internal morality, and not by the consensus of the majority, unless such consensus can be justified internally.

many infp people with enneagram 9w1 are compared to autistic people. in general the personality type 9 of the enneagram typology is compared to autuste because of the denial of anger for fear of conflict and the broad view coming from the NE function of the (mbti tipology)and added to the idealistic FI function....
@@catblue5188 I'm only vaguely familiar with the Myers-Briggs personality types, and not at all with the enneagram concepts, but I think you're probably right. When a personality type becomes so extreme that it pathologizes, we tend to give it a label. Then, that label tends to persist, and get used for non-extreme, non-pathological versions of the personality type.
I think this is the case with the term 'Autism.' There are pathological versions(measured by interference with the person's ability to thrive in their environment), and versions that are simply a personality type that can be even _unusually_ functional. In her case, her personality is clearly helping her to thrive, rather than hindering her. It's a wonderful and endearing personality.

Her honesty is refreshing. She is just such a free spirit. Love everything about her, and her music is just out of this world great. If she likes it cooler and darker, she'd love it here in Wisconsin. I'm like her. I'm not big on heat or sunshine. I prefer it cooler and darker too. And she sees the world the same as I do. In my almost 49 years, I have not come across anyone who writes the way I do and feels the world in much the same way. She is a gift I did not know I needed.

As an INFP too, I have so many thoughts and ideas but when I talk it's so hard to explain. The things she said abstractly here I could easily understand, but probably it's confusing for most people. INFPs are amazing people, but they are hard to understand if you are not open to different views and deep emotional ideas.
