I love how she's so uninterested in typical things like relationships or marriage or having kids.
There's enough people pushing all that. It's nice to have someone who's so in love with her own freedom.
I love when she was talking about her sister's new baby....and saying he's so stupid, a terrible conversationalist, and can't even help with rent. Just useless...lol. _Obviously_ she was joking. But it's also endearingly refreshing.

When I see those comments, I'm like yeah, she is. And she's ALSO wicked smart with a dry ironic razor sharp sense of humor that often goes dark.
She's a lot of things.
I also love how she directly addressed how people view her in the lyrics of Giving in to the Love. How she wants to "be all the pages" of her book. And how if she's not "pure" then she's "too much."
Her excellent demo "Wake Up" also directly addresses how other people perceive her. Honestly Wake Up might be my single favorite song she's ever written.....and it's an unreleased demo! It's so good....

I can feel when people are phoning it in, and can say without pause, that Aurora is one of the most 'real' performers I have seen. She always says she might just quit music between albums but Yoko Kanno has been saying that for years and the Siren always lures them back in, much to our betterment.
