My grip gives out way faster than my back in pull ups per say and I've good form too.
I think my bf could do this.. when my mom was training to be a physical trainer my bf went to get a strength test done and they had a grip test that everyone else was getting around half way at best. My bf maxed the thing out. My mom said her teacher was shocked he was able to do that. a bunch of other people tried but couldn't. My mom couldn't believe how easy he made it look too. It has always made me laugh how much bigger his hands are than mine.
I once left a weightlifter speechless after I picked one up that he used for building up grip strength. I proceeded to squeeze it repeatedly and with ease, while just talking casually. I didn't realise this was unusual until he stared in disbelief and told me he couldn't do that even after training with it. I'm not a big guy, but I have a very strong grip. I figured out it's from working as a welder during my youth. Specifically, the practice of regularly using an angle grinder one-handed. It takes a while to build up enough strength to do that, without it feeling like your hand is going to drop off.
I have CoC no 4 from years ago and just found it again in my car boot. I just showed my friend now 30 mins later this short comes. I did say "captains of crush" , phone heard it.

I mean they are meant to be closed with 1 hand
@@samanderson6488 Yeah so?? are you saying leverage wouldn't help here?
@@mitchhifi9192 The leverage you gain going for the very tip when gripping a coc 4 which requires 365lbs of grip strength to close is minimal at best. Yea if you are doing it like they do in this video using knees and both hands sure it will help, but still marginal.
Leg muscles are super strong, even stronger than our hands, since we use our legs a ton more than our hands, they're much stronger. This was cool! X3
Ok but that one fit janitor in school could close it with ease 😂
The secret is to turn it the other way round.
That is, go through the biggest angle
I'd like to know the lb rating to see what they are really dealing with
Probably a 300 one judging by not even caving it with their legs.
If that was a 200one and they didn't budge it with both hands and legs then idk..
@@fotis3v480 that was my thoughts as well
I have a feeling it is a COC 2
All about leverage. A lot of people were trying to push it closed from the bottom, furthest away from the tips. You want to focus all your force on the end of it.
I own the full set and yeaaa it’s not easy. They’re called Captain of Crush.
I bodybuild and I would say humbly I’m pretty damn strong, but still. In my opinion level 1 means ur a regular gym goer that’s been going for 2-3 years. If you can close level one ur a true man.
1.5 means ur taking grip training seriously for the past 6 months.
Level 2….took me a year to get to it but that already means u got some nasty forearms.
Level 3: your on steroids
Level 4: only 6 people in human history have ever closed it. It’s on their website. Larry wheels couldn’t do it.
I’m 5’9 220lb 17% body fat, 18inch arms and 14in forearms….bench 315,squat 535, deadlift 495….to put into perspective how hard that shit is
Have you ever closed COC 2.5?
What's the COC conversion to lbs? I can do 150lb for about 15, and 200lb for about 6.
Did levan close the 5?
@@jackspinner4727 they only add up to level 4
The girl got closer than all the guys
Probably gave her a lighter one. And ficked over the guy by giving him a 4 or something.
Hydraulic Press has entered the chat
bro is probably the only guy in the history of the gym he goes to that actually regularly uses that leg closing nautilus machine
He is using his legs that’s why that guy got it so easily
As everyone proceeds to try the same and fail
@@clydedavis3623 he probably had a specific technique. Also but everyone also did much better with their legs
Then here comes a normal azz dad with a dad bod and does it with 1 hand lmao
It looks like captain of crush hand grippers, It’s literally meant to be done with 1 hand tho, the way they’re doing it is just making it impossible for themselves. Guy doing doing the vid should’ve explained the correct way of doing it then asked them.
Imagine using a gripper as a keagle exercise and thinking you closed it 😂 I carry a 200lb gripper in my car as an anger relief
Ur not that guy pal
@@accelaratethe 200lb one is pretty normal for someone who plays around with grippers tbh.
I snagged one from a local gym ( yeh 😂) and i can close it on my right arm and roughly 90% on my left and i have insanely bad grip as far as I'm concerned.
My grip gives out way faster than my back in pull ups per say and I've good form too.
@@fotis3v480 closed my 250lbs a couple days ago with both hands after owning and using 150/200/250 for about 6 months
@@fotis3v480 ur not that guy pal
@@aaronvanderhout gj bro keep going.
I thank whatever grip i have from construction work lol .
Omg I want that man in the grey carhartt! Holy😍😍
I want to say its a 300LB or 350LB gripper but hard to tell
Looks like a captain of crush number 4
@@callmeeleazar how many LBs is that?
@@lancesmith4779 365lbs
@@callmeeleazar Nah that one is a 350lbs hand gripper, I have the same one. I'm working up to closing it with one hand
@@callmeeleazar The 50lbs hand gripper is really good for getting a massive forearm pump
It takes a while to build up enough strength to do that, without it feeling like your hand is going to drop off.
that one guy who flexed just to fail miserably 💀
"The camera just has to see the tips touch" boy if i had a nickel for every time I heard that!
bros got ⚡️thunder thighs ⚡️
Everybody gangsta till someone's cherries get cleaved.
Get a dad. He can do it. That dad strength is crazyyyyy
Makes me feel good. I got the same one and can Do it with one hand.
Dude flexed his biceps for this😭
I have CoC no 4 from years ago and just found it again in my car boot. I just showed my friend now 30 mins later this short comes. I did say "captains of crush" , phone heard it.
The best I can do is close it parallel against one leg and then hold it closed. Then it snaps open and rips ligaments XD
Dude activated all his dbag strength when he put his hat and sunglasses on 😂
My grandpa used to use those things everyday. He showed me he could close it with one hand. Then I tried it. As a 7 year old I couldn't even move it. So it was impressive.
I remember my dad having these, we used to do challenges to see who can close it the most times.
I never had this much trouble touching tips with the homies
It’s much easier when the hinged side (the connected part) is up by the base of the thumb (top of hand) so that you squeeze using the bottom of the hand.
