First heard this song in 1987... sitting on my motorcycle, on a hill over-looking an amazing beach in Thailand... I could not believe what I was hearing... THIS WAS MY SONG! Had a rock band in the late sixties... and a beautiful girlfriend to sing to... and yes those were the best days of MY life! ... I'm 71, still playing my guitar -and STILL rockin' to this song. Yea! I was only 13 in 1984 but this album was such a powerful influence on me and really defined the 80's for me back then --- full of memorable songs and timeless lyrics that spoke to the trials and tribulations of youth! I can remember blastin' this song at the local lake where me and buddies swam and camped out at. Carefree days full of FUN and enjoying great music, it seems like that's all we needed to be happy back then!

I saw him Australia in Melbourne in a small 2000 seat theatre Just him & his voice on stage with a guitar .. A couple songs were supported with a piano player That's it An acoustic show A guitar & his voice He was Astonishing .... The besr concert i have ever seen

In the middle of the concert we've had a little break and it was dark. Out of the sudden Bryan played just behind us on an extra stage. Believe it or not - Bryan pulled people onto stage including myself - and we were dancing together with Bryan Adams! An everlasting memory - this certainly has been one of the best day of MY life ...
Growing up in the 70-80s was lucky enough to be part of the greatest music Era ever and I'm 51 still jamming today and can't stand the music out now, never will there be a generation like the 80s
I agree with you except for the 70s part- I enjoyed that decade in music but when the 80s came- you felt you got hit by a tidal wave of awesome music, leaving the 70s in its shadow for the rest of music history.
Dreams do come true I saw this concert many many years ago on video and I wanted to experience this song in a concert stadium and I did just that a couple days ago in Orlando. He brought the house down. He is a dynamic rocker. I would do it all over again. It’s worth every penny. God bless you Brian you’re such a rocker.!!!
I was born in 1979 this song brings back some very vivid memories of my adolescent years. I have watched this concert numerous times and it is by far one of the most poignant concert videos I have ever seen. The editing has been able to capture the raw emotions of the audience which in turn brings the lyrics to life. Bryan Adams is certainly one of the greatest singers of our times and this song simply solidifies it.

I loved how Bryan just came in and without saying a single word, he started playing. That's his style. He always does that in his concerts. The crowd just goes from zero to sixty in one second 😂❤❤
But the people that recorded it can play it over and over again. So they can feel the 'greatness' or the concert feeling over and over. Each person will do what makes them feel good the most so each person is different. Some will prefer phones, some won't.

Sometimes I watch this video just to see the ecstatic joy on people faces while they watch this song being played live in front of them. It gives a feeling of instant happiness and you feel as if you are performing together with the band along with the feeling of togetherness because everyone feeling the same. I have never lived in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s but this music always takes me back in time to those periods and I see people I have never met, experience things I never experienced. Music of those times stand the test of time and live forever. This masterpiece of Bryan Adams will live for eternity. Greatest respect to the great Bryan Adams.
The only way this crowd could learn those lyrics is by listening to it many times on the radio or reading that little booklet that came with a cassette . In the middle of the concert we've had a little break and it was dark. Out of the sudden Bryan played just behind us on an extra stage. Believe it or not - Bryan pulled people onto stage including myself - and we were dancing together with Bryan Adams! An everlasting memory - this certainly has been one of the best day of MY life ...

Dreams do come true I saw this concert many many years ago on video and I wanted to experience this song in a concert stadium and I did just that a couple days ago in Orlando. I was born in 1979 this song brings back some very vivid memories of my adolescent years. I have watched this concert numerous times and it is by far one of the most poignant concert videos I have ever seen. The editing has been able to capture the raw emotions of the audience which in turn brings the lyrics to life. Bryan Adams is certainly one of the greatest singers of our times and this song simply solidifies it.

Sometimes I watch this video just to see the ecstatic joy on people faces while they watch this song being played live in front of them. It gives a feeling of instant happiness and you feel as if you are performing together with the band along with the feeling of togetherness because everyone feeling the same. most passionate crowds ever. comparing to those who rather watch it through their cellphone even during the concert nowadays. these people enjoyed the real music with their real hearts. this is the power of old good music.
What a huge crowd.. This concert is masterpiece by itself.. This shows how much people loved bryan adams at that era.. And how bryan adams entertained his fans is amazing..
No phones, no fake smiles, no selfies with stupid faces.
Just happy people with big smiles singing their hearts out and enjoying the moment.
