This was meant to be part of a longer video/series that talked about how the gnomes, monkeys, and desert quest lines tied into Xau-Tak. However, with the Desert storyline coming to an end I thought I’d share this part now. I also wanted to clarify a few things: - “Mentor” may not be the correct word usage. I’m talking about “mentor” in the sense that they’re giving us power and responsibility. - When I say Tumeken has to be alive I don't necessarily mean alive as an actual person. He can still be a talking gemstone. - I may have gotten the Osiris Myth stuff wrong so confirmation or correction is appreciated.
The bau of Tumeken were all created by Tumeken giving four creatures (one of them a human) part of his essence, turning them into demigods. This fits very well with the potential for a power boost for our character. I was initially skeptical of your idea, but I managed to bring myself around to it. The meta reason our world guardian powers were removed was to facilitate more interesting storylines in the future, but, the things they needed to take away were the gods being on Gielinor. Our character's (admittedly pretty circumstantial) powers weren't the issue, and I don't see why we couldn't get something like that again. Something worth noting is that Elidinis and Tumeken cannot return to Gielinor. Elidinis was strong enough to get banished by Guthix's edicts, and Tumeken would have been too. He would need to be reconstituted somewhere else, or he would have to be much weaker than he was.
I do hope that they would bring in wintertodt as the wind that tumeken fought. Also that is literally just a standard fable of the sun vs the north wind.
@@johnbalkin8223 I mean like she was THE VILLAIN in the quests. She had people try and kill us, attempting kidnapping the prince, and conspired against the royalty. We are actively fighting against her, so I don’t know about working with her at the moment.
@@johnbalkin8223 Tumeken is corrupted, and only wants death and destruction. That isn't going to change until her corruption is removed, if even possible. She's literally not right in the head right now.

Icthlarin, will bring us to enlightenment, teaming up with Amascut as we stop Tumeken.
We are meant to stop Amascut as she’s the villain of the entire series.
