Thanks!!!
I enjoy Gojira tea.
Great video! Compact, straight and information. Which kind would have the highest caffeine content? Thank you.
I love tea and the Empire of Japan !
I'm so glad to hear that you like green tea!
@@Nioteas Yeah, your videos are very helpful. Thank you for your work !
I have been a big fan of green tea for many years. After watching this video, I am quite interested in knowing more about these teas. I ordered this tea on your website and hope it’s good.

@@Nioteas unfortunately I don’t get that tea due to shipping issues. I got a email form u that u don’t ship to India 💯
Brilliant video!
Thank you so much! Have you gotten a chance to try any of our teas yet?
Hello Nio! So glad to have found your channel and the education you have provided on Japanese Teas. THANK YOU! I will be traveling to Japan and would greatly appreciate if you are willing to recommend a few Japanese Tea Rooms for tastings or Tea Ceremony. I will be traveling to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka...
I'm so glad you are going! It is such a wonderful country. If you have a few days in Kyoto I would recommend taking a day to visit Nara and Uji (or just Uji) and you can participate in a tea ceremony at Taihoan tea house, you just might want to sign up in advanced. Also, in Tokyo you will find some of the best tea shops . Here is a guide to our favorite tea shops: ua-cam.com/video/6AudnhUEIZg/v-deo.html
Very interesting! Great channel and content!
thanks so much! we have plenty of other videos for you :)

The restaurant Yunomi in Los Angeles carries Matcha Iced Tea, Sencha, Gyokuro, Genmai, and Hojicha.
Fantastic pedagogical video into Japanese teas. While I've been drinking Japnaese green teas for some time, I learned a lot! Very surprised about the use of pesticides & chemical in the production of gyokuru. I'm in France, so a bit too far to order from your site. I'm definitely watching all your content though.
you can definitely order from France! We ship for free to the E.U with no customs fees: nioteas.com
A wonderful introduction Japanese tea, but at 8:21 do I see milk being poured?! Am I wrong in that milk in oriental tea is simply not done?
this could have been for matcha. Yes you never see this being done with Japanese tea but in the modern age matcha lattes are how many people are introduced to Japanese tea
Hello, I was wondering what the best type of green tea is for improving health? I was wondering what types you would recommend to a beginner to try out?
Matcha is definitely the most potent when it comes to the benefits. You can check out this video here: ua-cam.com/video/fJgowk_V8XY/v-deo.html and if you want the best teas for beginners you can watch this: ua-cam.com/video/oxLndE-lgQY/v-deo.html
Really impressed with the information provided. Can you please send samples.
thank you so much! We have samplers on our website and they are currently on discount: nioteas.com/products/japanese-tea-sampler-mega-30-packs this is $44.50 for 30 different types of teas and it includes shipping
Pay or die
can you use one unglazed kyusu for almost all of them? how would you divide them in case it's not possible?
yes you can use it but it will "season" the teapot so your next few brews will taste like that tea
@@Nioteas do you still think it's proper to use the same for both gyokuro and sencha?
I do because the flavors are so similar. Then I use a separate one for hojicha, genmaicha and Bancha as these have pretty similar flavor profiles
Do you do wholesale? Couldn’t find a contact page on the website.
yes we do! You can email us at info(at)nioteas(dot)com or you can reach out to us on Instagram @nio_japanese_green_tea
While I personally don't buy (in to) the organic message for a number of reasons, I have really enjoyed your videos explaining both the types and the brewing of Japanese teas.
I've recently bought, a little too much, Japanese tea, and your videos were the best I could find. They're well structured, with time stamps and a logical progression, and maybe most praiseworthy they include little self promotion. I particularly enjoyed your short and easy "28 types" video.
To prove this isn't some intricate paid shilling, I'll say that mentioned the use of no chemicals, which doesn't hold true as chemicals aren't a descriptor of something "unnatural", they're all the matter around us.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you like the videos. It is difficult to explain the sourcing process in a quick phrase as we follow the JAS guidelines which is the Japanese equivalent of USDA but we cannot market the tea as "organic" in the U.S so we say grown without pesticides or chemicals
Are matcha leaves steamed before processing?
yes just like regular Japanese green teas. If you want to learn more about matcha, you can watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/dgldbbjscEs/v-deo.html
Im from India sikkim how can i order this Japanese green tea?
we can ship to India for free: nioteas.com/collections/sencha-tea

thank you for watching!
Typical English speaking style of pronouncing Japanese. oops.
