Fordyce 2023, a few days before Sierra Trek

Five jeeps and a bunch of people and some dogs, having fun wheeling and camping out on California's premier four wheeling trail, Fordyce. Lots of sections I didn't include or forgot to film in the first place. Maybe next time.

XJ on 35’s
Rest on 37’s except the red JK on 39’s

Yes and sometimes a winch for winch hill 4. First time I made it fine without a winch. This time I got off line and had to winch about 3 feet.

Looks like you need a modified vehicle to do this 😮

I think the Forest Service has says they want it to be passable by a stock Jeep on 35” tires. I’m sure that is possible but not easy.

So that was only my second time on the trail and I looked at the hard line on winch hill 3 and thought no way unless I have to. Is there a secret to it? I do want to try it this year
