I am also a hybrid shooter, but I got the A7sIII AFTER shooting with the A7IV, for so many reasons. The 4K crop was one, but also the overheating, and no 4K slow mo. The A7IV even in 1080p slowmo, switches to 8-bit!!!! I also love the night time video shooting of the A7sIII in super clean 12,800 ISO. I keep the A7IV for photography, but am really looking forward to the A7V, to get a real workhorse of a hybrid camera.

That does suck about the 1080p 120. Thankfully I haven't had any overheating issues since I found out about filming with the LCD screen open but I could just be lucky. The A7SIII is a beast, especially when shooting in low light! The dual native ISO in that camera is sooo good. Crossing my fingers for the A7V🤞🏻

Thanks, great video. I mainly shoot photos on a7iv and video with FX3. But lately I’ve been shooting my detail shots with a7iv 4k 60fps. And actually do not mind the 1.5 crop. I almost always am shooting real estate videos so it gives me some more reach for the detail shots.

Thanks so much, and thanks for sharing! That extra reach really does come in clutch when you need it. Do you have a go to lens for those detail shots or do you switch it up depending on the property?

@ I have Sigma 85mm, Tamron 28-75mm and Sony 50mm, but I do find myself using the Tamron more so, probably because variable ranges. The Sigma is a great lens but when you shooting a smaller home it really is too tight of a lens.
